All very good. Staff & Food, ambience et al. Will be back.

We arrived at 17:30 and was welcomed to table, drinks and starters were ok however a couple of the starters did not arrive until 25 minutes after our starters arrived initially, then we waited for about 45 minutes until our main courses arrived, this was unfortunate as we had a train to catch at 8 pm and we felt a little rushed in the end, which should have never happened arriving 2 and a half hours before our train, we came to restaurant about 2 years previously on a Saturday evening and the same thing happened that time Too, great food but extremely slow service.

My husband and I go back every year while we celebrate our wedding anniversary. The food is amazing, not covered in oil, succulent meats with lots of flavour. We went for the chefs special for two and were not disappointed. Staff are always polite and attentive. Nothing is too much trouble. Well done to all who make eating out a really enjoyable experience.

Lovely spicy fresh Indian food. The tastes are subtle and rich. We had butter chicken and fish dish. Much better than rivals all over this city! Very busy, great atmosphere and utterly charming staff. Go.

3rd time we’ve been to Indian Lounge for a meal and it’s been amazing food every time. Staff are very friendly and welcoming to. Only problem is no draught lager but no a reason to not go back again. Lamb chop starter was delicious as was my chilli garlic chicken and garlic basmati rice with garlic nan and chips. We must have been nice to sit next to on the bus home.😛😝🤪 Defo worth a try.

The behaviour of staff was not pleasant. Although i had availed special offer of 15 % discount while making reservation and mentioned about it while placing order but they didn’t give any discount.

We waren met 4 personen en we kregen een mix van voor- en hoofdgerechten , het was allemaal zeer smaakvol

Great experience! 3 of us attended. Food was delicious and very fresh, very reasonable pricing and good atmosphere. Couldn’t really fault it. Will definitely be going back.

Excellent food in a quiet place. The interior is Basic, but we came for the food. Very nice service. I fully recommend it.

The request for a tip when paying the bill is annoying. The service was like McDonalds. Therefore the request for a tip should not be made to the customer when there was no service other than putting plates on a table.

Delicious meal, I had lamb jalfrezi and the lamb was beautifully tender and the flavour was very good. It was very busy, the welcome was not very good at all but the meal was delicious.

Everything started off fine, but they attempted to sidestep the 20% discount offer for visiting their restaurant, which felt quite evasive. Any enjoyment we may have had quickly faded at that point. The portion sizes were the smallest I’ve ever seen, yet the prices were at the top end of the scale. Given the overall experience, I truly believe there are better options available, and other customers would likely get far better value for their money elsewhere.

We first went to Indian Lounge in Edinburgh February 1990 since then we have returned lots of times over the last 35 years.The food is amazing, the Staff are really friendly if you’re ever in Edinburgh please try.

Great evening for our work Christmas night out, food was lovely and the service was great.

Servers where awfull, wrong food was given and than I was ignored about the fact is was incorrect.

We told our server that we had 'medium' appetites and one of the 3 of us said flatly that they weren't very hungry. He offered to put together something for us, and was happy to accommodate our 1 gluten feee eater, and 2 dairy free eaters (hard for an Indian restaurant, I know from experience)--and the food was delicious!! I highly recommend the Indian Lounge for flavour and service. But the sticker shock we got when seeing the bill was painful--at £50 per person, we would have declined, as that's too much for people who aren't that hungry. Sadly we had to leave most of the delicious second course behind as we're in a hotel and couldn't take the leftovers.

Amazing food. Best Indian cuisine I’ve had and didn’t even have to wait long for it either. The Staff were really friendly. Have been here before and always recommend it to everyone.

The people there are real life thugs. They inflated my bill by summing up the total wrongly and fraudulently robbed me of the due discounts. It’s not about the money but ethics. These guys are ethically bankrupt. Food was horribly bad. Please don’t go to this place ever. I would never ever go there.

Staff were all grumpy old men and both currys with just massively over powered by coriander. Can't see us returning.
