As always, an incredible meal with excellent service. The staff also provided me with a birthday cake after hearing our toast. excellent value for money

Great food for both carnivores and vegetarians, very pleasant, helpful staff and sensible prices. We have become fairly regular diners at the Istanbul and, as ever, had a thoroughly enjoyable evening.

Excellent service, delicious food! Mixed grill is a real meat-fest and tasted really authentic. Whilst it’s quite a small restaurant, it offers a wonderful atmosphere when the tables fill up.

Disappointing. One of our meals was not available but we weren't told until the rest of the party had been served. She then felt flustered and had to make a quick order..spoilt things for our party.

Food and service were both excellent. The hot meze is especially good. But everything else was really tasty as well. The only fault we found was that it was a bit cold. It was a freezing day outside though.

Everything was excellent regardless the table which was a bit small for a party of 7 you can’t really move your arms while you are eating

Great authentic food. Lovely quick service. Grest atmosphere. Couldn't be better. Need to book as popular and often full. Will certainly revisit again and again.

Lovely traditional Turkish food, vast menu to choose from, warm friendly attentive staff, ideal setting for a meal before the show at the theatre.highly recommended

Istanbul's food is outstanding. The portions are substantial and full of flavour. Will definitely return. Friendly atmosphere. Red Legends wine was recommended and is gorgeous.

Great customer service and nice food but tables are too close together but would return again, lovely meal would recommend. Had the instanbul special and was delicious! Enough for 2/3 and delicious :-) ordered extra bread and was only £1 for bread and a ton of dips! Will definitely return!

Amazing food, lots of choice, great ambience, and great service. I would definitely recommend. A side note - if you are too full for dessert, you can take it home for later.

Great service with friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant has a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. Menus are well presented with a good selection of choices. The food is delicious and we will return again soon.

Gorgeous little place with delicious food and great service..A real delight. Travelled nearly 30 miles from one country to another after friends recommendations. Worth every mile.

Overall the food was fantastic, the service was great and I will go back in a heartbeat. If you don't like lamb (which features heavily on the menu, being this is a Turkish restaurant) there are plenty of alternatives such as seafood (seabass, squid, king prawns), vegetarian and chicken.

We enjoyed a lovely evening with friends. The food was delicious and staff were very friendly and hospitable despite being exceptionally busy last night. Highly recommended.
