Iznik is one of the most authentic Turkish restaurants in North London, particularly in terms of the beautiful artefacts and decor. My aubergine with lamb was delicious. The main problem was service, rather slow and somewhat chaotic, but the chef/waiter was apologetic and compensated with baclava and Turkish coffee on the house. I would certainly return.

Went back after 25 years and it's just as cosy as it was then with lovely background music meaning you can actually have a conversation. Same people and same tasty food. Highly recommemded.
