Received vouchers as a gift. Enjoyed all the choices - way steak special was excellent. Chicken taco superb. Only slight disappointment was the patatas bravas - we are used to them having an element of spicy tomato sauce, which was missing. Staff very helpful and dealt v well with our shellfish allergy. Surroundings comfortable.

This was our first visit and was for a birthday meal. It’s not cheap, but the food was outstanding and the service was excellent. Manager came to our table and chatted away and seemed lovely. We will definitely be back!

Jack O'Bryans was such a good find and is ideal for intimate and special occasions. They've great wines and cocktails to choose from and have a perfect balance of background music. We had a super starter of oysters with home baked bread and pork lard butter. Fillet steak and monkfish tail for mains were delicious and cooked to perfection. Finished with double espresso and a shared chocolate and whisky mousse with ice cream. Will definitely be back again soon!

Great from start to finish! Lovely inventive menu with lots of delicious fresh flavours. Love the small plates so you can try several different things. However, we were probably a bit greedy and next time might be a little more restrained! Good wine list which is reasonably priced. And the service was terrific - every member of staff was knowledgeable, efficient and super-friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended.

This is the best restaurant for miles. I will be dreaming of this lunch for a long time. Superb quality produce, presented with style. Can’t fault it.

The food and the ambience are excellent, my only slight quibble is with the service - at these prices I would expect my wife's mother to be addressed as 'Madam' and not 'Darlin''. But everything else was delicious and beautifully presented and you're easily the best place in town. 9/10
