Jaipur Spice

We went on a Friday night. We had great food and great service. We would highly recommend it from our experience. Between our party of six, we ordered quite a range of dishes and were all happy with our food.

Always a nice atmosphere. Food was great and the service was just as good as ever. Good value for money. Ample parking. Would definitely recommend.

A very good restaurant, efficient & pleasant service, delicious food. Only vague negatives were surprising lack of desserts on menu and noise from a large adjacent family party group. Will definitely be returning.

We went early Jan to celebrate my Birthday with friends. The food was fantastic as usual! Friendly staff, great atmosphere and an amazing menu range!

It is a lovely restaurant but the waiting time was very long. We had to wait 45 minutes for starters and about an hour and 15 minutes for the main meal. Overall it was pleasurable and the food was nice. Just wish the waiting time was a littl shorter!

Great atmosphere. But staff didn't cope with amount of people. Orders missed, gicento wrong table. Poppadoms soft and venue in need of TLC Mould on walls and some areas dirty.

Good food, excellent service. The decor has been updated and looks very smart, vibrant colors and very clean. All staff very friendly, will eat there again.

Excellent meal, good service and a lovely evening. It was somewhat noisy with the volume of dinners, the design of the building not helping. But all in all a wonderful experience and will definitely be revisiting

first time at the Jaipur. 7 ladies on a xmas family party. We all had the xmas 3 coarse menu,and we were all impressed.Good food good service I am booking to go on xmas eve evening with more family.

excellent curry great service, amongst the 4 of us we all rated very highly, the only downside is that the service could do with being a bit quicker, but highly recommend

We were greeted on arrival and the decor inside was lovely. There was a good and varied choice on the menu and the staff were attentive and polite. The food was fantastic and I would have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant.

The food was great but it did take quite a long time to arrive. Probably because there was a large party in but the rest of the restaurant was pretty quiet.

The food was as always absolutely spot on. Unfortunately the service let you down this time. I had a glass bottle knocked over by someone (no apology). Same person then dropped a plate when clearing the table, knocking the cutlery off and sending food flying onto me. Again no apology, not even an acknowledgement of what he had done). I think it was a trainee but still, care and attention needed and some communication skills training required.

Excellent food, thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We chose the banquet for two. Not had this before as was unsure what to pick, needed to try different food, as usually always have the same. Very good quality and friendly service, will definitely recommend.☺

We regularly visit Jaipur spice, the staff were friendly as usual and the food was of high quality. Our table was ready when we arrived, the food arrived promptly and we enjoyed it.

First visit to Jaipur spice. Food was very good,as was the service,however we did find the restaurant cold,probably due to not many customers in the restaurant.

Fantastic food on a very wet and windy night!! The staff were very attentive and welcomed us in. They took our wet coats and umbrellas which was very kind! The food was delicious .. too much naan bread for us to eat as it is included with the meal! The wine was very drinkable and overall we really enjoyed the experience.

Lovely food. We've had take away from here many times but this time we decided to eat in.... we wernt dissapointed the food was cooked perfectly. We will definitely be back.

Great food. Highly recommended. We only found out about it by coincidence as we are staying close by on a short break, but we agree with other reviews about the food - fresh, good quality; altogether a place to go if you want good Indian food.

WE VISITED THE JAIPUR ON TUESDAY THE 27 AND WE HAD SNOW IN YORK .THE JAIPUR IS A LARGE DINNING AREA AND NICELY DECORATED BUT IT WAS COLD AND CHILLY INSIDE THEY DID HAVE AN AIR BLOWER BUT NOT VERY EFFECTIVE. THE FOOD WAS TASTY AND VERY NICELY PRESENTED BUT A LITTLE BLAND FOR US. THE DISHES WE HAD SAID MEDIUM HOT ON THE MENU , BUT I WOULD BUT THEM AT MILD , THAT APART I ENJOYED THE MEAL ,I SUPPOSE YOU GET USED TO GOING TO YOUR REGULAR INDIAN RESTAURANTS AND KNOW WHAT TO ORDER . BUT OVERALL AN ENJOYABLE EXPERIANCE

Very attentive polite staff, lovely currys, I had the chicken honey masala, which was sweet and good, the chicken was tender. The lamb was also very good.

Just as my husband recommended, it was scrummy. Clean,excellent service. Piping hot. We travelled from Doncaster as my husband had been with a friend. I think he was quite nervous as I am quite fussy but I was well impressed and will be returning.

Excellent service and delicious food. The staff were courteous and friendly. A great ambience too with the large water feature and tasteful music. We will definitely go back there again
