I would not recommend this place to anyone who is non white! First of all the waiter did not greet us at the door and stood like a statue behind the bar, we had made reservations and were given the worst table under the bar. When the next customers walked in they were met at the entrance, shown to their table, given a good service from the start. The food was slightly above average, all in all i would avoid.

Can’t remember much the wine measures so huge! Seriously I think if you are going to offer such large measure it would be better to put in a carafe so one can pour it in smaller amounts. They have made a lot of improvements to the menu and interior layout. Also the waiters were a lot more professional. I had stopped going for a while because it hadn’t been great but will definitely will return again now. The service was very professional and normal unlike the very instructive or surly staff in the past. Really pleased to have it back to its former glory.

The food was very good. Authentic Tapas and Paella. The mussels in the Paella were well over-cooked, otherwise it was perfect. The only thing that let this great eaterie down was the poor service. It was inattentive and forgetful - very slow at taking orders, not replacing cutlery, forgetting to bring water. It was missing an experienced manager to make sure the waiting staff are attentive and looking after all the customers needs. There were a lot of dissatisfied & disgruntled customers, not because of the food but just because of the service. This is easy to remedy. After all, you want the customers to have a good experience and keep come back.

A group of us visited and shared various dishes. The food is acceptable, some things are better than others - the Jamon is the same as can be bought from a supermarket, the tumaca does not come with enough tomato sauce, croquetas are good but nothing special, pork with blue cheese is very tasty. The biggest problem was the service, although friendly it was difficult to get any attention and our requests were often not heard or misunderstood, at one point the manager left and seemed to go out to the local shops. There was no white wine available other than Sauvignon Blanc, not very Spanish, and come 10pm our bill was plonked down unceremoniously on the table and we were told it was closing time. Several potential customers were turned away when 10pm was coming up. On looking at the website, the restaurant should be open until 11.30pm. Why were we booted out so early?
