Lovely food & setting but Very busy & had to ask for water 3 times and asked for drink extra hot but only just lukewarm. Couldn’t get anyone’s attention to ask for it hotter as only 2 serving and too busy. Also added a 5% service charge to bill which wasn’t pointed out and asked to just pay the bill so he could get on serving rather than being able to split it and look at the bill to see the service charge!

This is a super place to visit - the atmosphere is warm and friendly and the proprietor went 'above and beyond' for our birthday brunch. We found one of the breakfast menu dishes ( a bacon roll) a little uninspiring but the yogurt bowl two of us had was very good. I do wish this, and other similar eateries, would choose more suitable chairs - or put rubber pads on the feet - as the current ones are horribly noisy when moved and add to an already noisy environment.

Lovely place to visit, plenty of choice and also plenty of gluten free cake options, and various dairy free milk options. I apologise to the owner as I seem to have booked my table twice. 🙈

Free parking, the menu doesn’t specify which options are gluten free- had to ask. Food was good and well presented. Cafe is light and not cramped. Will visit again.

A thoroughly enjoyable experience from start to finish. My partner and I were taking my mum who is 87 with Parkinsons Disease and very limited mobility, and Adam phoned me beforehand to discuss the easiest access for her which was thoughtful and kind. We received a warm welcome and the food was fantastic; tasty, fresh good quality ingredients. We had almost given up on eating out, as mum has problems swallowing, and meat (which she loves) is usually too tough. The blissful expression on her face as she savoured her lamb and apricot tagine (melt in the mouth lamb) made us feel quite emotional! Our mezze and quesadillo were equally superb. The hot chocolate was amazing. We were brought a carafe of water without even asking for it. After lunch mum sat at the table to watch the world go by while we explored the lovely shops in the courtyard, and when we got back Adam was sitting chatting with mum, which made her day. He then helped her out to the car. All in all, Adam and his lovely staff made a relaxing and memorable day for us all and we look forward to a return visit. Highly recommended!

Warm, friendly atmosphere. Amazing, tasty food. Had trouble choosing what to have because everything on the menu sounded delicious, all four of us chose different dishes and all had empty plates and were more than happy with our choices.

Always enjoy Jordans Yard, much more intimate than Monks yard but sadly the acoustics are not great and it's very echoey specially if you are busy. I have to wear hearing aids and find it so difficult just trying to listen to my lunch friends. Not sure what the answer is, maybe just visit at quiet times?

We found Jordan’s courtyard by accident on our way to Cornwall. We stopped off there and had a delicious breakfast. We enjoyed it so much that we deliberately called in on our way home for lunch. This was also delicious! Have recommended to family and friends.

Sat outside so the noise wasn't a problem but my friend said that it had been for her on a previous visit when she sat inside. Range of food was good and the kitchen was flexible to meet the needs of customers.

Food was excellent. All of the stalls were aimed at very wealthy people. Loved the kitchen equipment shop… but couldn’t find any item under £30. Lovely to look at, but will not be coming back

It was all very good but the only thing I would say is that the cafe was about a quarter full but sadly our table was right next to the loos, which was not great with people going in and out the whole time- might have been better to put us elsewhere.

Good: people, food, choice, value Neutral: parking is invisible from the road, careful not to park in the adjacent company Weaker: seating next to the open-plan kitchen can be very noisy, eg when the blender is running. Open room with no soft furnishing exaggerates the noise. Sit closer to the door if hearing is an issue.

Staff were friendly but disappointed with the food. Had the BLT special, the sourdough had no mayo on top, just bottom, making it dry & hard to eat, 3 pieces of bacon could have had crispy fat rather than white, inedible fat. 3 Very thin slices of Tomatoes & 2 little gem salad leaves. The garnish mixed salad had a lot of old slimy leaves so had to leave. Not the best. Friend had goats cheese toasties which she said was good & the others had savoury scones which were very crumbly & a bit dry. On the plus dide the Coffee was really good. It was hard to hear each other talk as the machine for , I think, the milkshakes was so loud it echoed through the building. We have all come to Jordan's many times before but this time was a bit disappointing

Arrived to reserved table In a dark corner lights were either not on or bulbs needed replacing Cobwebs were hanging from the beems Drinks order taken Milk shake arrived with cream on when it was requested to be without. Menus difficult to read due to being printed on really dark brown paper & laminated so the shine made it a problem. 2 Gluten free breakfasts ordered & told we could replace the sausage & black pudding Be replaced with an extra bacon & egg A bacon roll & a bacon & egg roll The rooms came bread un buttered I ordered another cappuccino but did not arrive until I asked for it again I payed for the food but on return home checked the bill & the swaps on one of the GF breakfast I was charged for. The person serving table obviously left her smile at home It was not busy many empty tables But service appalling We will not be recommended8ng or returning
