Excellent food and service - highly recommended An absolute hidden gem with a cosy feel and really friendly staff. The food was delicious and plenty of it. Great value for money too.
Lovely food. Reasonable price. We had the Saturday menu. Plenty to choose from including very appetising vegetarian options. The guinea fowl and duck legs were amazing with brilliant sides.
Lovely cozy little room with a real fire blazing in the corner , food good and reasonable priced, I had the duck legs but thought it lacked a little sauce cos it was very dry wish I’d ordered the fish my hubby said it was delicious
Lovely meal. Great service. Would highly recommend. Quirky little restaurant that is out of the way. A little gem. One for the future. Well done
Lovely meal. Went on a Friday when there is a special Fish Friday deal on which was really good and excellent value. Drinks were very reasonably priced too. Will go again
This restaurant has so much charm! Friendly staff and delicious food at a reasonable price! We felt very relaxed, and thought the service was excellent!
Went early prior to a concert, quiet and quaint. Good menu choice and excellent food. Service attentive but not intrusive. Will go back when in Kendal for morning afternoon or evening meals/refreshment. One downside choice of ciders and beer, Magners as the only none alcopop cider is not impressive!
We had a really fabulous evening. Joshua Tree is a relaxed bistro with a friendly atmosphere and wonderful food. The staff couldn't have been nicer.
The food and wine were excellent and a varied choice, the vegetarian risotto in particular. The staff were great, attentive At the right times. we thoroughly enjoyed it, thank you
Bistro was lovely but the food wasn't very warm. Good service though and would visit again. It felt quite homely and friendly and the prices are good value.
Warmly welcomed by staff and stove (it was a chilly night), and finely fed by a highly competent chef. I shall certainly return when next in Kendal.
Excellent service provided in a pleasant restaurant. Lovely, well cooked food at a very reasonable price. There was no rushing between courses so we had time to chat and enjoy drinks. Many thanks for a perfect evening.
The food was very well presented and very filling. Nice atmosphere cosy environment and good service. I would recommend popping in if you are in the Kendal area.
Excellent home cooked food, fabulous puddings, friendly staff and a great cosy atmosphere. A really great night out in Kendal. Will definitely eat here again.
Welcoming host, excellent quality food and a beautiful period property made it a most enjoyable dining experience. Look forward to returning in the near future
The Joshua Tree is a really cute little family run restaurant tucked away down a sweet little court yard. The food was fantastic, we both tried each others dishes and they were both delicious, and reasonably priced. Well done Nick and Shelly Allen, we will definitely be coming back!
Great fantastic food experience atmosphere 100% + very good waiting staff an reasonable pricing very interesting historic building will decimate lying be visiting again and again
This is a small restaurant tucked away in a cobbled street. The waitresses were welcoming. The food was wholesome but pretty ordinary. I guess good value for the price.
A lovely charming place with fantastic food, great friendly service and sensibly priced, what more could you want for an evening dining experience in Kendal?
The food was lovely and had such a great choice. Was excellent value for money and the service was good. Would definately recommend to anyone.
