Fabulous food and service as usual. Its always a delight to eat there and the staff are so helpful and friendly, would highly reccommend it
excellent food good service allowed time between starter and main course the food was excellent, sea food lazeez always a great choice fresh fish loved it
Can't fault the place. Always fabulous food and fabulous service. By far the best place to go for a curry in Birmingham. Never had a bad visit. We will be back again very soon.
The food was lovely. Especially the Baltis! Best in Birmingham! The lamb borti starter was amazing. The service was speedy and friendly. Would come again,
We dined at 5.45pm on a Thursday evening, having made an online reservation...it's fair to say we were the only diners at that time! Service was very welcoming & we were shown to our table. High quality interior decorations and fixtures/fittings. Menu is well-presented and there is plenty of choice. Service was very prompt & efficient but not overpowering...they weren't hovering to clear up as soon as you finished the last mouthful, nor did we sit for an eternity waiting to be served. The quality (& quantity) of food was excellent - clearly all freshly prepared and piping hot. Overall, the bill for three of us - starters, main & drinks came to just over £50 - yes, you can probably get cheaper meals elsewhere, but if you're looking for something just a step or two up from "cheap & cheerful" then you won't be disappointed here.
My first visit to this charming restaurant. A really nice location, the food was really great - at last an indian restaurant where you can taste the spices! - and the environment is pretty good. The service was rather patchy, especially considering the place wasn't anywhere near its full capacity, We had to find a waiter to take our drinks order and we also ordered popadoms that never arrived, but I'll definitely be back to give them a second chance.
Food was great but service not so. We were left ages before ordering and had to get staff'should attention on number of occasions. Seemed plenty of staff just not very organised. Also, a wrong dish was brought out so one of us had to wait for the right one to be made. Then the waiter knocked over a glass of wine when putting down the meals and had to be asked to replace it rather than him apologisingo and offering. May have been an off night but it was a shame as the food is very good.
Always our favourite spot, Kababish never fails on service, quality of food and décor. They staff are charming and efficient and knowledgeable about the menu. Fresh ingredients are used to create a delicious array of dishes. Two of us are vegetarian and there is an extensive choice on offer. The surroundings are warm and welcoming and we never feel rushed or neglected.
Haven't been to the kababish for a fair few years, but stepping back in, nothing had changed. Great atmosphere. Great staff. And food that was amazing. I've recommended this place to everyone i know for years but had not been myself and I must say it lived up to the reviews. Almost certainly will be eating there again soon.
The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. Staff are very welcoming. It has a very varied menu which is slightly different than your run of the mill Indian restaurant. Each of us had something different from the menu and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Only down side is parking. We had to ring to say we were trying to find somewhere to park. It took us 15 mins to find somewhere.
This was the first time I had been to the restaurant. The service was brilliant and try caters to all requests and were more than happy to modify certain dishes. It was very busy however we were not waiting for long periods of time between dishes. Fantastic place and the food was delicious. Wish I could go everyday!
Definitely couldn't return to the States without another visit . They were mega busy last night and we could see why we couldn't get in last week, hence the use of Quandoo to reserve a table but there wasn't any difference to the quality of food or service as both were amazing. Just love this restaurant.
Fantastic food, service is brilliant. We have been eating at the Kababish for years and never get tired of going. We have introduced so many friends and family and they all love it too. Our nephew from France asks to go when he visits. I recommend the onion bhaji and any of the Baltic.
The Kababish is now an institution. A paragon of excellence in both friendliness and the quality of food. After 30+ years as Birmingham's very best Balti restaurant - and I have been going there for that long - there is no accolade sufficient to describe this wonderful place. I love it. Simply the best!
Very pleasant surroundings along with the service and food. Had read good reviews about the food which proved to be spot on. Recommended. Have given a 5 because there was a rowdy table at the other end of the restaurant which definitely took the shine off the night. Fortunately they left before us so tranquillity was restored for the latter part of the meal.
My sisters and I ( we are all very fussy ) had an excellent meal . The food , service and hospitality were of a high standard. Staff were friendly and efficient the restaurant is clean and comfortable and well above average. I will definitely go again .
Food was very good but the cocktail I ordered was poor and I pretty much had to tell the guy how to make it but he done an awful job. Was really hot in there and they could've seated at a bigger table as the 7 of us round a smallish round table was really cramped. Food is very very good though and the staff were quite nice and attentitive
We had an excellent experience at Kababish. Of particular note was the knowledgeable waitress who advised and guided us towards dishes that we all really enjoyed. The service was slick and friendly and the food was of a high standard. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Great food, relaxed atmosphere. Staff were welcoming and very helpful. The range of food was excellent, with a good vegetarian section. The staff were also aware of allergen needs and gave informed advice on what was, or was not included in the food on offer.
we have been going to the Kababish for years and it never dissapoints. There was 6 of us eating and we all enjoyed a beautiful meal in friendly surroundings. The waiters were excellent , food beautiful and a good evening was enjoyed by all.
Delicious food, great service and nice atmosphere. Even though we arrived early and were the only customers we felt relaxed and completely unaware of ourselves. It soon got busy but the level of service didn't drop one bit. Perfect for a posher curry!
We brought friends here from out of town as they wanted a curry. As always Kababish was a pleasant environment, friendly helpful staff, and great food. Our friends were very impressed, I would highly recommend this restaurant for casual dining or special occasions.
Excellent food, excellent service, brilliant atmosphere. First time I've been to the Kababish Restaurant even though I only live down the road and I will definitely be returning. One of the best curries I have had in a very long time.
The food itself was lovely, although the poppadoms were stale they were exchanged. Sadly for us there was a HUGE party next to us and we could not even hear ourselves talk to each other. We asked to be moved but apparently no other free tables. We promptly ate and left as was totally deafening from the noise of the party.
Good food, staff very helpful - even when one of the party spilled their drink all over the popadums! Mess was cleared up and more popadums appeared - at no extra charge. A very good evening and a positive experience.
This is my favourite Indian restaurant, it is so good it spoils me to want to go anywhere else. Unlike other restaurants the chicken is off the bone in strips and not that horrible processed cubed stuff you get elsewhere.
This restaurant is a Moseley institution and has a pleasant and cheerful vibe. The food was fine but not outstanding. The popaddoms were a bit underwhelming and my chicken balti must have had the Chicken added just at the end. I think times have moved on and they need to do better to keep up.
Superb service and delicious, well-cooked food made this a great experience, would recommend to anyone looking to eat out in Moseley. Lovely comfortable surroundings too, we really couldn't find fault with any aspect of this restaurant!
As always, a wonderful night at Kababish. Been to a lot of restaurants, but this remains my firm favourite. Beautiful décor, friendly staff and delicious food and drinks. Have been going there for over 30 years.
Can't believe that i have been going to the Kababish Mosely since it opened, and It's still a firm favorite, the welcome is always as if you are part of their extended family, and the food? always piping hot and perfect.
As per usual the staff friendly ,attentive and in no rush to move you on ,and again the food meets more than your expectations , well priced well prepared an overall fine dining experience.
The service was generally good although some spilt food was not wiped away between courses. All food was of a very good standard and the meat particularly tender. Moderately priced for good quality. I would recommend the Kababish.
Another excellent evening. The food is tasty and well presented-excellent value. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It has become a bit of a regular destination and we hope to be back soon.
First time at this restaurant but will defianately be back !! Lovely food , friendly waiters/waitress , lively atmosphere , great choice of food - can't wait to go again !
Great food and attentive service. Alcohol is reasonably priced and the dips to accompany the popodoms were varied and delicious. Old school balti full of flavour and crisp Naan breads. Yum!
The curries were all lovely and fresh. The vegetable samosas were a little disappointing- too much pastry and not enough filling. The service and atmosphere was great. This wasn't our first visit and won't be the last.
Great food, service and hospitality..would definetly reccomend - lamb chops were amazing - cocktails were top notch - waiters were friendly and attentive - so great tume all round :)
Great food, good ambience, good service from helpful and attentive staff. Everyone in our party very happy and enjoyed our evening. We have been before and will certainly go again.
Great place , the decor has a great mix of modern and traditional. Staff where really friendly, service and food good, will definitely be going back and recommending to friends.
We had a lovely evening and the food was tasty, well presented and met our expectations. We did wait a while and finally had to ask for poppadoms. However, this did not spoil the night.
Once again the food was fabulous! Service as always can't be faulted. By far my favourite Indian restaurant and never have a bad meal, and reasonable prices too !
Used it for years staff and owners fantastic good exelent parking may be a problem but it will be worth the walk to have a meal at this eatery
Excellent food, value for money and service, thank you. It was enjoyed after a day at Edgbaston Cricket Ground by various work colleagues who said they would highly recommend.
Lovely food and the staff were very attentive and helpful in explaining the different dishes. Our order was taken quite quickly and our food arrived quick too, even though the restaurant was very full.
They served great food. Service was excellent and atmosphere was very relaxing. Even though it was busy we got served without waiting around and food was prepared without a wait. Would consider going again.
Another superb evening out, great food at very reasonable prices. I can recommend the Balti Mix - a great choice for those who want a bit of everything.
Excellent food and excellent service. We have been visiting this restaurant for the last 21 years and yesterday we took some friends of ours who were instantly impressed.
Very good food as always. Friendly, attentive staff who are always helpful and build a warm relationship with diners. Would highly recommend the restaurant for great Indian food.
Very busy Friday night but the helpful staff managed to squeeze an additional friend on our table. As always the food was beyond excellent as was the service.
A meal at the Kababish is always enjoyable and this one was no exception. The staff are always helpful and welcoming and the food and drink is good.
