It may be slightly overshadowed by other types of South Asian cuisine, but Kampung Boyz is flying the flag for Malaysian fare in London’s Barnet, serving up delicious dishes showcasing the country’s vibrant and rich flavours. Begin your culinary adventure by trying some ketam lembut (deep-fried soft shell crab with seasoning) or some chicken or lamb satay, before moving on to a traditional Malaysian curry, stir-fry or seafood dish. We recommend the lasi namak (fried chicken pieces with coconut rice, peanuts, fried egg, cucumber, anchovies and sambal). Located over on East Barnet Road, Kampung Boyz is open every day of the week, attracting diners for both lunch and dinner. Guarantee a table at Kampung Boyz by making a reservation in advance!
This is a very friendly restaurant offering a cuisine not often found. The food is excellent. Would highly recommend. We shall be back again soon.
