With whole spices and fresh herbs (rather than curry powders and supermarket packets common elsewhere) permeating throughout, The Kashmir’s long menu has heartwarming Indian and Anglo-Indian favourites (the vindaloo wakes you up without killing your taste buds, and their range of baltis is as good as anywhere) as well as a selection of specialty signature dishes – we particularly recommend the succulent salmon-e-salon, the superb Bangladeshi desi machli for fish lovers, as well as the chicken anarkali, a whole chicken breast stuffed with medium spiced lamb mince and then roasted in the tandoor and served in a special sauce.
