One of my go to restaurants for lunch very central and I like that they change the menus over the week so you get some variety. The starters are hand made so not your usual standard pakoras which is a good thing. Great value for 4 courses what more do you want.

Nice food, staff were attentive, only downfall was the lack of atmosphere. Central location, would visit again if we were in the area . . .

I live going here for lunch partly because the change some dishes each day so it give a bit more choice that the other who have a fixed menu every day. The quality of the food is always really good andas is the pleasant service you get wether you on your own or in a large part. So great food great service and excellent value on price a must try if your in the west end

Poor service, inattentive staff and food average. Nearly had to collect our drinks from the bar as the staff seemed me interested in chatting to each other than serving. BTW we were the only people in the restaurant at the time.

I enjoyed the food and the service both made it worth the visit if you go get the chicken tikka which is really tasty and the rice is not your usual fried rice again good.

I really like the style of cooking more like a curry you would get down south so give you a different meal to the usual Edinburgh one. Would recommend the chicken tick and mixed starters

Have the business lunch the portions are small but still good value for the price I would happily trade the extra side dish for a slightly bigger main dish as the chicken tikka is excellent. The only other thing would be to offer either rice or the nan as I would prefer a full ban bread and no rice but that’s just my preference.

Food nice but would have been better if all the starters had arrived at the same time !! People finished their starter and others hadn’t got theirs . Also waited on food after main meals had been served . Decor looking tired , Been here a few times wouldn’t rush back

We have been coming to Edinburgh for 4yrs and always enjoyed a curry at kasturi. But this time it was very poor & more expensive. When we came to pay the machine wouldn't work. I had to go across the road to cash point for money to pay. Wasn't a good experience won't be returning

Good food and friendly staff - would recommend the tikka masala as it was not red and sweet like some restaurants do it - really tasty. the room was a bit cold, but to be fair, the door had broken which let in drafts, and they were trying to get it fixed so not their fault! - definitely worth a visit :)

Quick service. Friendly atmosphere. Moderate cost.wanted very mild vegetables and they did serve mild vegetables. Made some mistakes in the final bill of payment. When pointed out they readily corrected it.

Gorgeous food, smaller portions for the lunch menu but plenty in them. Great choice of starters, mains and includes a side dish, dessert or coffee. Would definitely recommend this restaurant

Good service excellent food we had the banquet, will return and would recommend this restaurant. Close to city centre and very easy to book and staff helped when we arrived earlier than we expected.
