Great atmosphere, food, service and beer. Only my second visit, but I hope to make it the second of many. Good value too and lovely log fires.

As a reward card holder for the King's Arms we always enjoy the excellent food. The service,as always, was fantastic. We will return be returning soon

Food and Service excellent , great atmosphere and cosy by the fire on a cold winters night. It’s a bonus that the Kings Arms offer a loyalty card too with great offers and discounts. We will definitely be revisiting soon. Carole and David

Took customers here for dinner and had a great time. Really good food, lovely atmosphere with the fires going, great service from all staff too.

The food was excellent quality. All of the family enjoyed their food including our 4 year old. The atmosphere inside was warm and cosy and very inviting. We’ll definitely be visiting again

On the whole it was an excellent evening. Staff especially good. We do take serious issue with the over-generous size of the main course portions. Totaly unnecessary and a big turn off. The establishment could save money and avoid food going to waste.

Excellent service, Meal very good, surroundings good and log fires certainly good on a cold evening. We are regular customers who probably have a meal there every 3 weeks or so.

We had a family lunch on Saturday the food was very good. It was a nice relaxed atmosphere with very cosy log fires, the staff where helpful and polite.

The quality as ever is first class. A very varied menu to suit all pockets. Always worm as is so he welcome. It is my first choice for lunch. The staff are always most helpful and kind. The Kings Arms oozes history with its old timbers.

Super meal, lovely steak, all very nice indeed! Will be returning soon. Great gin selection and lovely atmosphere with roaring fire. Just what we needed on a chilly night!

Good quality food, a friendly staff and really nice surroundings made for a lovely new years day meal. We will certainly be back for another visit.

Wonderful meal, great atmosphere, friendly staff - nothing was too much trouble and we were allowed to take our time to enjoy a rare family get together.

We visit the Kings Arms regularly and the service and food are always very good.This visit was no exception we both had the piri piri salmon which was delicious we ordered a side of seasonal vegetables and were served with a lovely selection of 5 different fresh veg.Overall really excellent value

Good atmosphere and Food very although good service needs some improvement. It was very difficult to get someone’s attention without going to the bar and asking.

Lovely pub full of character. Excellent food and service. Not the chepeast of places but well worth the money. Gets very busy at peak times - book to avoid dissapoinment.

Enjoyed another cosy lunch with family at the Kings Arms. Service, as usual, was excellent and the festive menu was varied and enjoyed by all.

Good food and good people. And not too expensive for big portions. Have been several times and it is always great. Will go again soon

Excellent evening with friends. Food and service first rate. Atmosphere very good and excellent value for money. Would recommend it for a good night out.

As ever a wonderful casual feel about the place. Warm and friendly, good food delivered in good time (freshly made). Place has lots of character.

The atmosphere and ambience was perfect and with delicious food and great service it was a perfect way to celebrate our anniversary, so easy to book using quandoo , thanks Carole and David

Would be good to point out if you order one item from the two for £14 it will still cost £14 when you place order. It maybe on the menu but pretty small type.

Great atmosphere, good service, excellent food - lovely pub and a perfect place to meet up with friends and family. Log burner and traditional decor have a very relaxing effect. We look forward to going back soon!

Service was good, however, the veg was under cooked, couldn’t eat it and the Christmas pudding was too rich and far too sweet along with the custard. Not worth the money. Sorry!! Not going back.

Pleasant environment. Shame they have lost the open fires for a wood burner though. However, nice food and a reasonable choice and price with pleasant staff.

Wonderful atmosphere. Good selection of food and drinks. All served on nice warm plates and good quantity / quality - Reccommend the Steak deal before 7:00pm. Dogs are allowed too.

A pleasant experience. I rang to say I would be late- the M5 was blocked- and they were understanding and helpful. Food and service very good. The fish pie was deceptive; it looked rather small but those who chose it soon found it was more than enough.

Relaxed atmosphere good food and friendly service. Went there for my birthday meal and had a really good time and the reward system is good.

Lovely food and plenty of it. Wonderful old worlde surroundings and great staff what more could you possibly want. A lovely all round experience and one not to be missed.

Went to kings arms for Birthday Sunday lunch - food was brilliant, large portions and they did a great job with the birthday cake and candles

Food was excellent and waiters/waitresses were very attentive. My only little gripe we were charged £1 extra for a very small amount of gravy that one of our party requested.

Great, tasty food, lovely location with cute atmosphere. Service was also very helpful and they went to the effort to give me a Birthday pudding for free. I would go back again.

They said “Who ate all the pies”, well if all of them were the same as the type that we were served today then there wouldn’t be any complaints from this happy customer. Just superb, go ahead and try one.

Excellent steaks, served in good time. Vegetables are cooked well and full of flavour too. Good Gin / Wine menu also. Staff polite and courteous.

We like this pub mainly because they do the best Sunday roast and we've tried a few. The staff are always friendly, even when they're busy.

My friends and I meet up for lunch at the kings arms for special occasions. The food is always delicious and the staff are very attentive

Great service and a lovely setting to eat in, the food varies from very good to okay. The steak or chateaubriand is very good but the burger and fish special (pan baked hake) was just okay, the fish being dry and without much flavour, for the price I’d expect better. The pheasant/pigeon (my husband says) was very good. The service is great and the wine menu is to match.

Lovely food, lovely pub. Full fire blazing and were placed next to it, not very comfortable in the heat. Will ask for a table away next time

Fabulous meal to celebrate Lorna's 21st birthday - puddings were delicious and free! The chocolate and salted peanut tart was especially good with so many nuts. The mains were good too!
