The restaurant is clean and well laid out so even when it got busy it didn't feel cramped. The service is friendly and prompt, and the menu is varied and descriptive. The quality of what we ordered was great; delicate sushi, crispy calamari, and generously stuffed hirata buns amongst other things. The Tokyo Fries were a fun addition too.

Our first visit (we are not local) and will definitely return when we come to Colchester again. We picked Koryu as they had some lovely Vegan options and it didn't disappoint. The two dishes I ordered we beautifully presented, hot and delicious, thank you so much!!

The food and staff were fab. There was no rush for us to eat and the servers allowed you to eat without interruption. The food was so good and very reasonably priced. We'll definitely visit again!

We had an amazing meal here. We asked for help in choosing a traditional Japanese meal, this consists of lots of smallish sharing dishes, served at intervals. We were so glad we did. The food was delicious, beautifully prepared and presented. Thank you 🙏

Food was brilliant, tasted really fresh and portion sizes were very generous. Was a Monday night so the restaurant was very quiet, but still a nice atmosphere and the staff were very friendly and efficient. Will certainly be back to try some of the other dishes!!
