Kristian's Restaurant At Moxhull Hall

First class service with sublime food. I would highly recommend this restaurant and cannot think of anything bad to say about it. Go there, try it and be impressed.

Evening meal enjoyed here on Monday evening. Lovely setting in beautiful old building, grand, comfortable bar and dining room, very friendly and attentive service. Interesting and varied fine dining menu and prettily served, tasty food. Really pleasant evening

Always a favourite of ours, we got married here. Fabulous food, wonderful ambience, and staff especially Kris great. We have introduced it to several friends who have also introduced it others.

Beautiful dining experience. Quality food in an intimate atmosphere. Wanted a pre Christmas treat to enjoy with friends and it certainly was. Staff most welcoming. Second time we have dined at moxhull and won't be the last.

Excellent meal, friendly service, comfortable seats and attractive decor. Ideal if you are looking for a sense of occasion yet reasonably priced. Made a pleasant change to get out of Birmingham and it's insatiable appetite for inflexible and expensive tasting menus. Worth the drive.

The decor is fantastic. service and food excellent making it a very special dining experience for a very reasonable price. I recommend all my friends to go.

Thisbplace was amazing. Staff were very attentive but ultimately it was so he food that made it amazing. Perfectly cooked scallops followed by a fillet Rossini to die for. Every meal I have eaten since my visit Herr just cowers in comparison

This is the 3rd time we have had dinner at Kristian's Restaurant over the last couple of years and it always proves a winner. Easy to book, great menu and super price for quality food and lovely environment. We invited a friend to join us this time too and he was very pleased with the evening. we shall be back soon. This has been our second visit this year highly recommended for special occasions. Ambience is fantastic food excellent and service second to none will definitely be returning in the near future .

Saturday Evening 22/10/2016 - full house. What an experience - Great atmosphere & surroundings, service faultless and pleasant, topped off with great food - Calamari the best ever, Steak perfect and the warm pear tart heaven on a plate. The whole night was excellent and was quickly followed by follow up a search for future reservation dates. A very popular venue. Kristian's Restaurant is definitely a secret pleasure not to be shared - so do tell anyone!

Fantastic service and food highly recommend. Hidden away with fantastic gardens. The staff were very friendly and engaging the service efficient without being intrusive. A new favourite.

Excellent meal. The ambience was perfect from the start. We were very well looked after by the very attentive staff and all in all enjoyed an excellent meal and evening.

Had a lovely evening at Moxhull Hall, decor and ambience is truly wonderful. Service was good as was the food, but just a few little things would have made this review a 6 such as waiter leaving the wine menu for us to choose some wine, carrying our drinks from bar table to restaurant table, holding out chair for me to sit down, offer of water for the table, serving spoons for vegetables! So basically, a few personal, attentive tweaks and it will be top class.

We got married at Moxhull Hall two years ago and went back to celebrate our anniversary. The food and service was faultless. We can't wait to go back again.

the food was delicious but the bar staff appeared to be inexperienced. I ordered a Gin and Tonic . Wasn't asked it I wanted ice Lemon Another member of our party orders. sherry and was given a Martini .Think they had some new staff in who were training .the restaunt is lovely and I would go there again

We had yet again an excellent evening. The food and the service , ensured that our evening was very enjoyable. We were celebrating a birthday, so when desert arrived there was a candle in it followed by the staff singing happy birthday. Thank you to Chris and all his team☺☺

Beautiful setting and gorgeous food, will return. All the staff were very attentative from bar staff to waiting staff. Moxhull Hall has gone top of our favourite places to eat list.

Excellent food; tasty, well-cooked and beautifully presented. Staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the dishes. Intimate, sophisticated atmosphere without feeling pretentious or stuffy, perfect for a romantic meal.

Kristian's is a lovely restaurant. We enjoyed a pre-dinner drink in a nice bar area before being taken to our table. The restaurant is modern on one side and more traditional on the other. We sat on the traditional side which was very nice. The staff were friendly, attentive and efficient and the food was very tasty and reasonably priced too. They were playing nice background music and there was a lively atmosphere. Overall a great experience. We will be returning.

As usual, everything was good - service, ambience, food. One niggle however. We had been served our main course and still hadn't heard any mention of the wine list. So we had to ask for it. Even the lower rated establishments give you a wine list when they give you the menu.

We return regularly for our anniversary. Nice to see the menu evolve yet still retain some of our favourites. On the whole food is hearty, with good portion sizes. Excellent attentive service. Thoroughly recommended.

We went to Kristian's for the first time and were not disappointed. The restaurant (and hotel) have a contemporary décor; the food was first class, a decent amount of choice across all ranges to suit most tastes. We both had good portion sizes, well cooked and well presented food. We both had a starter, main and dessert and really enjoyed them all. The waiter/waitress and bar service were excellent, well timed and non intrusive. I would highly recommend and we will be returning.

Excellent in every respect . Table d'hote at £24.75 for 2 courses or £27.50 for 3 courses is very good value and offers a good choice. Wines are reasonably priced too. Staff are pleasant and helpful especially the thoroughly professional restaurant manager Andreas. I will certainly return.

Fantastic food on a beautiful, Victorian House setting. Kristian's Restaurant takes seasonal food and just cooks it well. Choices of steaks, numerous fish and vegetarian dishes, there is a choice for all!

Excellent service, fantastic food and relaxed atmosphere. We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary with our family after having had our reception at Moxhull Hall in 1986. A great evening.

The biggest problem was the postcode on the website. Completely wrong. Satnav took our guests to a location about 6 miles away, so the evening started very badly with mobile phone "talk me in" navigation. We told the Receptionand they said "Oh yes, we get that quite a lot. Such an easy fault to correct. Other than that, the location, the food, the service. the garden were fine. Hope this is constructive. Of course we will not be meeting up with other friends here until we know that the postcode has been corrected. Regards - Moz

Two of us went for a birthday meal. The food was very good and in general, so was the service. Recommended if you've saved up!

Most enjoyable evening in lovely surroundings with excellent food and service. No one could find any fault. Good place for either a party or romantic evening. Will certainly visit again.

We had a lovely evening. The surroundings were just right for celebrating our anniversary, very personal. The service and the food were both excellent and the Restaurant manager Chris was very attentive and really enhanced our evening. We will definitely be making a return journey, and are looking forward to dinning there again.

Excellent food and service from start to finish in beautiful surroundings. Couldn't fault it. Had crispy beef to start and duck as main, followed by lemon tart. Every mouthful was delicious. Well done.

Excellent service , the menu was varied with a set price for 2 or 3 courses. We were taken to our table after ordering were we were given a small cup of soup warm bread and a tapenard of olives while we waited for our first course . The tartlet was piping hot and very tasty the meal continued in this vein everyone was very polite and helpful, a very pleasant evening was had
