Kristian's Restaurant At Moxhull Hall

Delightful! Food, ambience, service - all were excellent. Third time of visiting - and we have not been disappointed ever. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit.

We went to Kristian's for the first time and were not disappointed. The restaurant (and hotel) have a contemporary décor; the food was first class, a decent amount of choice across all ranges to suit most tastes. We both had good portion sizes, well cooked and well presented food. We both had a starter, main and dessert and really enjoyed them all. The waiter/waitress and bar service were excellent, well timed and non intrusive. I would highly recommend and we will be returning.

Fantastic food on a beautiful, Victorian House setting. Kristian's Restaurant takes seasonal food and just cooks it well. Choices of steaks, numerous fish and vegetarian dishes, there is a choice for all!

This is my third visit to Kristian's and yet again food and surrounds were very good. The staff are all really nice and can always answer any questions you may have on the menu. Deborah C.

Excellent in every respect . Table d'hote at £24.75 for 2 courses or £27.50 for 3 courses is very good value and offers a good choice. Wines are reasonably priced too. Staff are pleasant and helpful especially the thoroughly professional restaurant manager Andreas. I will certainly return.

Very good service from staff and were very polite and well mannered. Food was amazing and well presented. Would return again without hesitation and would recommend to family and friends

The biggest problem was the postcode on the website. Completely wrong. Satnav took our guests to a location about 6 miles away, so the evening started very badly with mobile phone "talk me in" navigation. We told the Receptionand they said "Oh yes, we get that quite a lot. Such an easy fault to correct. Other than that, the location, the food, the service. the garden were fine. Hope this is constructive. Of course we will not be meeting up with other friends here until we know that the postcode has been corrected. Regards - Moz

Excellent service, fantastic food and relaxed atmosphere. We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary with our family after having had our reception at Moxhull Hall in 1986. A great evening.

Two of us went for a birthday meal. The food was very good and in general, so was the service. Recommended if you've saved up!

Most enjoyable evening in lovely surroundings with excellent food and service. No one could find any fault. Good place for either a party or romantic evening. Will certainly visit again.

We had a lovely evening. The surroundings were just right for celebrating our anniversary, very personal. The service and the food were both excellent and the Restaurant manager Chris was very attentive and really enhanced our evening. We will definitely be making a return journey, and are looking forward to dinning there again.

Excellent food as ever and considering quality the quantity was great too. Slight mix up over wine but soon resolved. Will be booking again soon

Excellent food and service from start to finish in beautiful surroundings. Couldn't fault it. Had crispy beef to start and duck as main, followed by lemon tart. Every mouthful was delicious. Well done.

First time at Kristian's.. We had a party of six and enjoyed the evening thoroughly... very good atmosphere, food and service..would definitely go again..recommend it!

We were returning to using this restaurant after a very long gap. We used to love it so our expectations were high. I can confirm it was perfect - I especially liked the individual bun loaf that accompanied the pâté. The pork was so tender it fell apart on the fork.

Very enjoyable evening with great food in a relaxing setting. Staff very attentive and made the visit enjoyable by ensuring the courses were delivered timely with no feeling of being rushed. Will certainly visit again.

Excellent service , the menu was varied with a set price for 2 or 3 courses. We were taken to our table after ordering were we were given a small cup of soup warm bread and a tapenard of olives while we waited for our first course . The tartlet was piping hot and very tasty the meal continued in this vein everyone was very polite and helpful, a very pleasant evening was had

Top quality service and food in an out of this world landscaped gardens. Such a difference from the previous croquet lawn and watery soup. Still however retaining the originality of the Riland house. Will definitely return.

Fantastic place, attentive, friendly staff. Went for a 40th birthday meal. The courgette and stilton soup was to die for. Unfortunately that was the best bit. My Thai prawn starter tasted like it had been rushed over with a Thai paste, one of the party had the Thai veg curry which again tasted very pasty, and another of the group had the steak which she should have sent back, but she was too polite....very tough indeed, even for a well-done steak. Overall, rather disappointing, but maybe MH had too much on that night as we noticed a wedding party on our arrival.

Brilliant service, very friendly but most importantly the food was superb and very good value for the standard. I couldn't recommend eating here any higher!

Had a fabulous evening... Fantastic food served by very efficient and extremely pleasant staff! The surroundings were modern and tasteful, and we received a warm welcome from Reception, Bar and Restaurant staff. Nothing was too much trouble.

Due to good reviews, booked for friends 60th Birthday, had a really lovely evening, excellent food, excellent atmosphere, excellent staff. Definitely go again, thinking of arranging for daughters 21st Birthday in May.

Celebrating my wife's birthday, it was our 1st visit to Moxhull Kristian's restaurant and it far surpassed our expectations. The food was delicious and the service and attention to detail was a breath of fresh air. Complements to the marvellous chef! Will most defiantly be back soon.

My family and I went to Moxhull Hall for dinner over the Christmas period. It was delightful from the moment we arrived and we all thought it was wonderful. Beautiful surroundings, the staff were friendly and attentive and the food was excellent. We shall certainly visit again.

The experience of dining at Moxhull Hall is always a complete delight. Well placed table with acres of space, considerate service, delicious, beautifully cooked food and a wonderful setting. The staff were great very friendly and the food was just superb I had the belly pork with crackling the crackling was the best I have had for a long time.

Food excellent and generous portions - didn't really need the sides. Only slight criticism is we were left sat at the table for 15 minutes before waiting staff attended - that said it did not spoil a lovely evening in comfortable surroundings.

This is our second visit to Kristian's Restaurant, it has a lovely ambiance, excellent service from very attentive staff and wonderful food, an all round fabulous evening. Many thanks, we will definitely be back again soon.

meal ok but not special for our anniversary.no normal veg with the lamb cutlets.charged for two bottles of wine we did'nt have,they appolagised by word only.been lots of times before and loved it,but want be going back again.gone down hill.

Traditional Restaurant well executed. Good food and excellent value. Attentive staff and the slightly vintage/quirky vibe make it an excellent experience. Have used it now a number of times and each time proved an enjoyable experience.
