Kristian's Restaurant At Moxhull Hall

We were returning to using this restaurant after a very long gap. We used to love it so our expectations were high. I can confirm it was perfect - I especially liked the individual bun loaf that accompanied the pâté. The pork was so tender it fell apart on the fork.

Very enjoyable evening with great food in a relaxing setting. Staff very attentive and made the visit enjoyable by ensuring the courses were delivered timely with no feeling of being rushed. Will certainly visit again.

Top quality service and food in an out of this world landscaped gardens. Such a difference from the previous croquet lawn and watery soup. Still however retaining the originality of the Riland house. Will definitely return.

Fantastic place, attentive, friendly staff. Went for a 40th birthday meal. The courgette and stilton soup was to die for. Unfortunately that was the best bit. My Thai prawn starter tasted like it had been rushed over with a Thai paste, one of the party had the Thai veg curry which again tasted very pasty, and another of the group had the steak which she should have sent back, but she was too polite....very tough indeed, even for a well-done steak. Overall, rather disappointing, but maybe MH had too much on that night as we noticed a wedding party on our arrival.

Moxhull Hall never fails to deliver in every sense-great food,excellent service and relaxed atmosphere.Excellent value for money.Would recommend it to anyone.It's definitely one of our favourite places to go.

Celebrating my wife's birthday, it was our 1st visit to Moxhull Kristian's restaurant and it far surpassed our expectations. The food was delicious and the service and attention to detail was a breath of fresh air. Complements to the marvellous chef! Will most defiantly be back soon.

Due to good reviews, booked for friends 60th Birthday, had a really lovely evening, excellent food, excellent atmosphere, excellent staff. Definitely go again, thinking of arranging for daughters 21st Birthday in May.

Had a fabulous evening... Fantastic food served by very efficient and extremely pleasant staff! The surroundings were modern and tasteful, and we received a warm welcome from Reception, Bar and Restaurant staff. Nothing was too much trouble.

The experience of dining at Moxhull Hall is always a complete delight. Well placed table with acres of space, considerate service, delicious, beautifully cooked food and a wonderful setting. My family and I went to Moxhull Hall for dinner over the Christmas period. It was delightful from the moment we arrived and we all thought it was wonderful. Beautiful surroundings, the staff were friendly and attentive and the food was excellent. We shall certainly visit again.

The staff were great very friendly and the food was just superb I had the belly pork with crackling the crackling was the best I have had for a long time.

This is our second visit to Kristian's Restaurant, it has a lovely ambiance, excellent service from very attentive staff and wonderful food, an all round fabulous evening. Many thanks, we will definitely be back again soon.

Food excellent and generous portions - didn't really need the sides. Only slight criticism is we were left sat at the table for 15 minutes before waiting staff attended - that said it did not spoil a lovely evening in comfortable surroundings.

meal ok but not special for our anniversary.no normal veg with the lamb cutlets.charged for two bottles of wine we did'nt have,they appolagised by word only.been lots of times before and loved it,but want be going back again.gone down hill.

Traditional Restaurant well executed. Good food and excellent value. Attentive staff and the slightly vintage/quirky vibe make it an excellent experience. Have used it now a number of times and each time proved an enjoyable experience.

Lovely hotel, very welcoming. Restaurant also very welcoming. Had pre-dinner drinks from the bar attached to the restaurant whilst we decided what to have. Service was delightful, food divine and the whole experience wonderful. Never felt rushed, everything was simply relaxed but efficient. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt that our evening was important to all. Fully recommend and we will definately be going back soon

We got married here 6 years ago and have ensured that we return at least once a year either around or on our wedding anniversary and have never been disappointed. The food as always is amazing, the staff always courteous, polite and accommodating. Don't ever change moxhull you have got it right! See you next year!

This is 4th visit to Kristians and each visit seems to get better. Love the food, service and the atmosphere and the bar person is so good at his job.

We were married here three years ago and keep going back for our anniversary meal each year. We still love it every time we go :-)

Excellent venue,excellent choice of menu. The staff were attentive the quality of the meal was second to none can only describe the experience as proper dining.
