La Campana - Haywards Heath

I have visited the restaurant twice now, and of the 10 or so dishes I have tried from the tapas menu, I have not found one that isn't absolutely delicious. The staff are so friendly and attentive to ensure you have the best experience possible. The prices are on the higher side, but it's completely worth it for the amazing food and service you receive. Will definitely be returning in the future.

We had a lovely evening. Staff were very attentive, and the food was fabulous! One person in our group is gluten free, and had no problem finding things to order. Would definitely go back!

Lovely food lovely atmosphere and great service. Reasonable priced. A very enjoyable evening .was made to feel very welcome would definitely recommend and will definitely return at another time.

Really excellent food, La Campanella have consistently delivered a very high standard of food every time I have been, service was very quick and the waiter made some excellent wine recommendations

Brilliantly service and food. Definitely recommend and go there again. Lamb was beautiful and cooked well. Waiters were friendly and welcoming, amazing place. Only thing is that we were tucked away on a corner table, where as we would of liked a little more room.

A very enjoyable evening at la Campana with a girlfriend. Delicious freshly cooked food bursting with flavour washed down with a white Rioja recommended by the waiter and what a good choice!

service was good but food which whilst tasty, came out very quickly and wasn't very hot which was a shame . You felt like you had to rush your meal before it got cold. They should invest in heated trays for the tapas dishes.

Good food, service good, although if large parties are in, be prepared to wait a while. Reasonably priced, but check Bill as a service charge is added.

Lovely evening. Pity we did not listen to your staff as they explained how BIG the paella was and they were right! One paella between two would be better for us.

Cannot recommend dessert unless you have the churros. Tapas portions appear to have shrunk since our last visit but all very tasty. DO NOT ORDER THE COCKTAILS.

Excellent selection of mouthwatering tapas - portions suitable for 2 persons. Also, despite the chef's unforeseen absence, the service performed by the remaining chef and waiter, was very good and carried out with great charm and politeness. Excellent house wine.

We had a wonderful evening, the food was delicious and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend it for couples and larger groups.

Food was bland but service was great so hence why it’s a 2 Monday night but hopefully it’s fresher nearer the weekend but service was fantatsic

Our tapas were excellent, the service friendly and the wine delicious. The only reason we didn't rate at 6 was that the restaurant had been so busy during the day that they had run out of bread!

La Campana is such a well run family business. Smiles all round and delicious tapas. We love it.

Booked for Saturday night 20.30 for 2 people. Fully booked restaurant. Had a drink beforehand and sat down for dinner at 21.00. Still pretty much full restaurant.

Good food and good service. This Spanish restaurant offers a wide choice of tapas (a few of them a bit overpriced) and drinks. The only negative point is how noisy it gets on a busy night, it's difficult to hear the people sitting at your table.

Excellent meal as always. Only criticism was that there was no superbok beer as they had run out due to Easter weekend and weren’t having a delivery

As always La Campana did not disappoint. The food was delicious and the staff are so friendly and attentive. The kidneys with mushrooms and sherry are one of our favourite dishes.

Very welcoming, friendly staff. Service was prompt and food was delicious with good presentation on the tapas stand. The portions were an appropriate size for tapas and our choice of a white 'Rioja' to accompany the meal was excellent. A venue we will return to.

Went for mother's day. Our meal was very nice, the wine was excellent and service was good. We had a buggy and the staff were very helpful in giving us a suitable table and helping us.

Lovely food. Not that busy in restaurant maybe because Wednesday night. Good range of wines on wine list. Reasonable prices. Had to ask for tap water not offered.

excellent service and great value for money. The melon shot was amazing bright green in colour. Chorizo in red wine is my favourite as is the expresso martini

We booked to celebrate a 60th birthday with friends. We had fantastic meal. The choice was far too difficult offering amazing food. The service was excellent.

Great meal out last night (2nd Feb 2018). Tapas dishes were tasty and generous, we'd had enough but the banoffee pie was too tempting not to have, so we had that to take away too - glad we did. The service was friendly and efficient. Will go again.

Clean,friendly restaurant. Had to request a hot plate. Rice with chicken, prawns and peas tapas did not look appetising. The rest of our meal was nice. The friendly waiter told us we were ordering too many tapas dishes and he was right.

Myself & my partner visited on a Friday evening, we cannot fault the service we recieved or the food quality it was simply delicious. The food came out in good time and was cooked really well. The table service we recieved from the moment we walked through the door was faultless. A very pleasant and enjoyable evening! Highly recommend.

Wasn’t quite up to the normal standard. Food quite average on this occasion unfortunately. The dishes all did not have as much flavour. The calamari was wet and didn’t have any crisp to it. The chorizo tasted burnt. Sangria was good as always though

Excellent family celebratory meal at La campana. Attentive staff. Very welcoming and friendly. Food plentiful and lots of variety. Can recommend the wine list - good choice and price.

Nice staff, although our waiter struggled to understand us. Forgot one dish from our tapas until we reminded them at the end of the meal. Did not have any churros- (how come?), so substituted a very dry pie with no cream. They took it off the bill when we complained though. Had a good time but restaurant was very empty considering it was the week before Xmas.

I am very disappointed with the restaurant. The place was very very cold I don't think there was any heating at all. I couldn't enjoy my evening because of that, you can't really have a nice time when you are freezing. The food was good but it didn't really matter for me as the cold ruined my evening. Also one of our friends was late and the waiter came many times to ask whether he is going to come or he should remove the empty plate. We had to explain every time that he is late because of trains and the plate should stay which I don't mind explaining but became annoying at the end. Sorry but I wouldn't go again to La Campana!

We had a lovely evening. The atmosphere was lively, the service prompt and friendly. The selection of food was great and everything we chose was delicious. Would certainly return for another visit.

The food was lovely as always but it was a shame there was no specials to offer. Also we always find it very cold which isn't pleasant when you are out for a meal.

Very friendly service - though not enough staff on a very busy Friday. Good varied, well presented, generous tapas but very noisy due to lack of 'soft' furnishing. Pity, as such a convivial venue to meet with friends but if more than four on a table difficult to hear the conversation.

Excellent service, and delicious food, there were 6 of us and we ordered 2 dishes each, which was plenty to share. We will go again.

The food was the best ever this evening and the staff always a delight I would also recommend the muga tinto if you like your red wine

This is a fantastic Spanish restaurant. I have been to chain tapas restaurants and the portions are tiny. Here you get decent sized portions but the staff will help advise you so you don't go mad and get more food than you can handle. The desserts are also amazing. I highly recommend the banoffe pie! A highly recommended night out.

This Restaurant is fantastic.Excellent food, fantastic service. This was my first visit and was recommended by friends and family.I will definitely be visiting again very soon.

Great restaurant - wonderful food - friendly staff. As someone said a "touch of Spain in Sussex" Can't recommend it highly enough. Tapas are a delight
