Great tasty food, with a lovely atmosphere. Loved the one ilkley and this is just as good. Moderate prices but worth it! Just go :)
Fantastic lunch with 2 friends. Lovely mixture of tapas, fun staff and sensational dessert. Staff were very attentive and offered advice on portions and tastes.
The food was absolutely fantastic. We've recommend la casita to lots of our friends. We are due another visit I think. Ten out of ten.
This is my third visit and it didn't disappoint. Food and service was excellent. I would strongly recommend La Casita for a cocktail or tapas. Can't wait to book again.
Food was amazing and some really different tapas choices, décor is lovely and the atmosphere was really relaxing. Staff were great and happy to make a mojita, even though it wasn't on the menu.
Nice enough food not the greatest tapas I've had. The staff were ok but two different waitresses told us the specials of a bottle or wine and some ribs - that was it and we were told twice. Some of the dishes aren't great the green peppers were just half chargrilled & oily and 4 small prawns in another dish. We ordered coffe afterwards, I had to wait till way after desserts and after my friend had got hers - in the end I asked again for it. We were then moved from our table as it was booked again after us - this would've been fine if they'd have told us in the beginning not mid coffee, we were sent off to find another seat.
Lovely atmosphere, lovely food and red wine! Chorizo was amazing!
The food was really good & the wine perfect but the service was extremely slow and the food wasn't overly hot when we eventually got it! It's a nice modern twist on tapas eating but a tad expensive for what you get.
This was my second visit to this restaurant, and each time they added to the bill a bottle of wine we had already paid for at the bar before we were seated. When we pointed this out to the waitress, there was no apology, just a very casual 'Oh yeah, that's ok, we'll remove it'. Well actually, it wasn't ok by us. We have the distinct feeling they do this as a matter of course, just to try their luck.
Why has the menu changed to replace classics like meatballs with unusual/cheap cuts of meat like ox or pigs cheek or chorizo by itself (overpowering and sickly), struggled to find things we wanted and not surprisingly what we did settle on was not available....obviously not the only ones thinking similar. Also for 'sharing' food everything was catered for one or three people so had to cut almost everything in half, far from ideal ...disappointed doesn't cover it. However not all negative, the staff were lovely and helpful, having been happy there a few times previously I will give it another chance when/if the menu choices improve
Awesome Food - Tasted amazing! Good Portion Sizes - Probably 4 to 5 dishes per person would be enough Brilliant Staff - Very friendly and accommodating Great Venue - Chilled out pre bar with good drinks menu Spot On! Will definitely be back. Cheers!
The food here is brilliant and varied. The lamb was out of this world true melt in the mouth stuff. The gin cocktails were also brilliant.
Lovely food and atmosphere. Good offers during the week as well.
Excellent service and all the food we ordered was delicious. Really good cocktails as well. We loved the chilled out atmosphere and the decor also.
Cannot fault the night, the food was amazing with fantastic service. This is our 5th or 6th visit this year and we're never disappointed. Prices are very reasonable for the quality.
We went to celebrate my eldest son's exam results and the food was enjoyed by all of us. The staff were friendly and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere.
We went on a Saturday evening which we thought would be busy but it wasn't which we liked. The staff were very attentive and menus for drinks and food were brought to us.The service was efficient and the food delightful as the evening wore on most of the tables emptied so it became very quiet but there were some people at the bar.
Great food, good service, would highly recommend. Everything was reasonably priced and the atmosphere was great. I have visited the ilkley restaurant but this was my first time in Horsforth, will definitely be going again.
Lovely atmosphere, service excellent. Really enjoyed the meal. The chicken thighs in sherry was so good I needed bread to dip in the sauce. The seared peaches with ham was delicious. My only complaint was that some of the rolls were a bit hard but it was a minor point.
Excellent food and drink. Lovely restaurant with a lovely atmosphere.
Excellent food and great service, we will be back again
