This restaurant never disappoints. Service and food are always good and we regularly eat here before going to the cinema in Crouch End.

As always, great food & atmosphere. Service was slightly disappointing at first (had warned we had a pram when booking but table given wasn't the most practical) but improved !

Excellent food and staff; lovely atmosphere. Portions are generous. Particularly like the chick pea and spinach stew. My local tapas restaurant and I'll continue to go....one of my favourites!

I loved La Bota and I'm sorry they've removed a few favourites from the menu but was very pleasantly surprised with Sabor the new layout is more comfortable providing a softer cosier atmosphere will definitely be going back

Sabor is a rebooted La Bota. We used to love La Bota, so were a bit worried it had changed. However, it was a pleasant surprise. A bit more expensive (admittedly, La Bota was quite low budget), but we thought it was worth it. Some old favourites were still on the menu, with some new and imaginative additions. We always stick to the tapas, so can't speak for main courses. We particularly liked the tartare of tuna with avocado cream and sesame seeds. We thought it was sensational. We wanted to order another one, but we'd already eaten the last one available that night. We intend to go again.

Great food, friendly staff, nice atmosphere. Frequently ate here when called La Bota and pleased that it is basically the same comfortable place but with improved food!

Great food in generous portions and a good selection of wine to go with it. Booked easily and the table was ready when we got there which was useful fro a Sunday night. Nice and handily close to both cinemas in Crouch End.

This was our second visit to La Bota. There has always been a good friendly welcome here and the food and selection is great. It was just unfortunate that we didn't receive all the dishes we ordered. There was some confusion, they gave us the wrong dish and when we advised we hadn't ordered it, it should have been something else with the same main ingredient it somehow removed another dish from our order...as it turned out we had plenty to eat with the 5 dishes between us and didn't need the 6th. We had ordered water but received none. We never ordered olives but were given some, this had happened on a previous visit so we never thought anything of it but there was a £2.50 charge on the bill for it which is even more expensive that they charge for olives, according to their website it should be £1.95! The charge for the Sangria on the bill was higher than the price in the menu, the menu price was £13 something and the charge was £14.50. There were just too many small things that weren't right for us to completely relax and enjoy our evening...I say evening but somehow, and I still don't quite know how, we were in and out in 30 minutes! Sadly just not the relaxing Saturday night meal out we'd been expecting.

Not great quality unfortunately. Good service, but disappointing food. Very greasy and heavy food, biggest disappointment were the churros. Will not be going back for sure.

Food is exceptional! Really recommend the rabbit dish and the wild boar special. They do a very nice tempranillo which goes nicely with the bread and ali oli dip.

Lovely! The closest to "real" Spanish food I've had recently. Charming atmosphere - friendly staff. My favourites were the prawns and also the baked aubergines. Will definitely be back as perfect pre-cinema meal (Picturehouse about 50 steps away!).

I really like La Bota, compared to a lot of tapas restaurants in London the portion sizes are pretty decent (try the tortilla!), and so are the prices. An authentic taste of Spain in London.

The food was good, it came quickly, the staff were friendly and helpful and gave suggestions and the atmosphere was good. Lively restaurant. We had booked on a Saturday night but plenty people seemed to be able to walk in and get tables without reservations, although the restaurant was reasonably full.

Amazing and genuinely Spanish tapas restaurant. They've been going on since 1992 and this proves how reliable they are. The restaurant also offers a good choice of wines and Spanish brandies. Their Chorizo in Wine is amazing.
