Lovely food. We had our usual. The chorizo is great. Nice atmosphere. Doors were open as was a warm evening. Almost felt like we were abroad!
We will come back. The atmosphere was perfect. It was a lovely place. We went early on Sunday night so it wasn't too noisy or too quiet, just perfect. The wine was excellent and good value for money. The food was very good, especially the blue cheese croquettes. The service was excellent and friendly.
Had a lovely time. Good food. Nice atmosphere. Would go again. Very reasonable price too - £45 for 8 tapas dishes. Food was ordered and came quickly. Thank you
Excellent food, good flamenco show. Not too much salt in the food which is great, and the selection is wide enough for everyone to find something to eat. Prices are reasonable as well.
Excellent tapas bar, always enjoy a visit here, staff very friendly, they are mainly Spanish which adds to the authenticity of the place. We had eight tapas, all of which were very tasty and reasonably priced for Crouch End
It was a busy bank holiday Sunday but the service was appalling. On arrival our table at the back was just pointed out to us. No one came to take a drinks order for 30 minutes and only then when I asked them to come over. We waited 45 minutes between dishes, were abruptly told they had 'run out of potatoes', which we had ordered 90 minutes before. All this could have been forgiven if the staff had been in any way apologetic - instead we were made to feel as if the delays and problems were in some way our fault. I will not be going back.
Service was bit slow today (think they were caught out by Bank Holiday) - but food and wine as good as always. Beautiful chicken livers today
We have eaten there a few times before, and liked it very much; this time it excelled itself. Every dish was so delicious we ended up ordering two more plates. Even the bread and olives were out of the ordinary We ate very well, drank very well, and ended up with a bill of £33 per head, including a decent tip. Very highly recommended.
Very nice tapas bar. Most dishes are simple but were made from fresh and high quality ingredients and were properly made. The ambiance and service were both great and overall we felt that the place gives very good value for money.
We went to La Bota on one of the monthly nights when there is flamenco music and dancing and the atmosphere was great, very busy, need to book. The dancing was superb!
We usually have an excellent experience at La Bota, both foodwise and service, but last night was disappointing as some of the tapas came out to our table later than others, and one of the orders wasn't correct.
Decent food and good wine by the carafe, a winning combination. Service is a little inattentive, but the food comes out pretty quickly. It did, however, empty out pretty quickly and had little atmosphere by about 10.30pm - and this was a Friday night. Much cheaper than the other well-known tapas restaurant in Crouch End.
Love this place. Great selection of tapas and interesting wines and sherries. Nice intimate atmosphere and friendly helpful staff and manager. Definitely worth a visit.
The food quality has improved a lot and now is tastier. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is quite relax. A pleasure to eat at La Bota.
This place is a favourite of my family, wonderful tapas and good value, never fails to provide a really great night out for our group
We ordered the bread and aioli, meatballs, two kinds of croquetas, lentil stew, bacalao tempura, garlic prawns, pollo al ajillo, mushrooms in garlic, 2 jugs of sangria, 3 beers, 3 coffees and two desserts and it all came to less than £100 for 4 people. Everything was delicious.
Lovely traditional food with friendly/entertaining staff. Nice family run feeling. We ordered 6 tapas dishes between two, perfect amount. Reasonable prices too. Will definitely be going again.
Interesting range of tapas, all quickly delivered and well done. Quick service despite being rather crowded. Reasonable ambience. Good value. Was a good choice for a quick pre-cinema meal
Delicious food as always. The beetroot salad was amazing. Ingredients are really fresh - not tired and limp like some other places. Service is friendly.
The food is good, but the service can be erratic - bringing dishes which weren't ordered - and make sure you are not given the table next to the central heating pipes, or you will melt. C
Fabulous food, fast service and really good size portions. Great value for money. My son was able to practice his Spanish as all the waiters were Spanish. They were really kind and helpful. Can't wait to go back!
fast service, delicious food and excellent atmosphere. I highly recommend this tapas bar.
Had dinner there on Bank Holiday Monday . The restaurant was only a third full but we had to wait half an hour for our meal. However, the food was very good and the waitresses were very pleasant.
Really tasty food and a pleasant atmosphere. The service however was slow and advice given to us about dishes poor. Also, we ordered drinks from the bar that were not brought to us - the person behind the bar was more interested in chatting up a female customer than serving us!! Worth a visit and will return if in the area again.
The food was good, as always. However, one of our party had to wait a lot longer than the rest of us for his food to be served to him.
Went for a New Year's Eve meal. Was impressed with the friendly service & fantastic value. There is a great variety on the menu too meaning there's something for everyone.
Service was superb, the food was well cooked and food lovely . House wine was good value .All in all a great time as a restaurant should be
Lovely restaurant, the atmosphere was good, the staff very helpful and the food was delicious. I would recommend La Bota to anyone and will be returning
Excellent food with superb service will definitely use again soon
The quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff is consistently excellent. Service is prompt and efficient. Remains my first choice in the area.
A lovely evening spent with friends and family. We enjoyed delicious food and good service. As regulars we will be back again soon. Highly recommended.
From booking to arriving at La Boya everything was perfect
The food was amazing, great atmosphere and really good value.
A return visit confirmed my previous experience, great food and service.
Fantastic grilled octopus! Quite reasonably priced for Crouch End too.
Excellent food and service. Great atmosphere and the staff were great!
Excellent food and exceptionally friendly and helpful service. Deservedly very busy, so becomes rather noisy, but comfortable seating and does not feel cramped. Very good value for money.
I always enjoy a meal at La Bota. The food is excellent, the service good and there is a nice atmosphere. All this for £22 -25 perhead including wine. Who could ask for more.
I have lived in crouch end for a quite a long time and really don't know why I hadn't tried La Bota before. The service and food was lovely and the portions were just right. We ordered plenty of food and felt the prices were extremely reasonable. Looking forward to going back soon
We had a fantastic meal. Some if the best tapas ever
