They had run out of a few options but we liked lots of things on the menu so chose something else. We sat outside in the shade, it’s a lovely atmosphere.

Five of us met up here at La Mad's this morning for coffee and cake, which were very enjoyable. This was our first get-together here since 9th December 2019, i.e. before Covid! Hope we can meet up again here soon. Friendly and helpful staff.

Lovely atmosphere, relaxed and welcoming. Food beautifully fresh and flavourful. Definitely worth a visit but book (using this simple app) because it fills up quickly - and I can see why!

Lovely to be back after so long. Staff so helpful - my Mum is in her 80s and not as mobile as she once was. We had been allocated a table up some stairs but immediately they changed us to a more accessible one. So pleasant to sit in the sunshine drinking chilled wine and eating Hake goujons

Amazing food, the steak was the best ever, and cod was beautiful. Lovely atmosphere, everything was perfect.

We had lovely meal sitting in the garden which is a little gem. Great food and excellent service. We will be back!

My companion had burnt toast with her mushrooms (they were delicious). Service was slow, food arriving 35 minutes after arrival. Coffee was great. Missed the table in the window which I used to love sitting at watching life in Church Street.

Relaxed setting outside in the garden. A true oasis in the centre of the city. Delicious food and friendly service.
