We had a lovely time at this restaurant. The staff were polite and very helpful, especially the waiter who showed real Italian warmth and charm. The food was delicious with generous portions. We all liked the typical Italian decor

Both of us felt our main course meat tasted 'odd' as if the oil/butter it was cooked or marinated in was going off - waiter said Chef said he never uses butter - no apology. Since we each had a different main course (lamb cutlet and steak) they should not have had the same strong, almost rancid taste. Being hungry we said we'd have pudding instead of replacing the main course. The starter and pudding were nice and the restaurant was clean - toilets spotless. Surprised when the bill arrived that they charged full price for everything - there was no offer to provide a small refund gesture AND they charged for the puddings and coffee. We were offered a Limoncello on the house - but so was everyone else.

Lovely food and very reasonable priced. Staff were fantastic and would recommend. Restaurant has a good atmosphere with Italian decor. Great for any occasion lunch or evening

This restaurant was recommended to me and it wasn't a disappointment. The quality of the food was excellent and the restaurant staff very friendly. I went with 2 friends and we all found the starters very large and none of us could finish them. The main courses were an average size, we didn't try any of the desserts as we were all too full. I would definitely go to this restaurant again.

Delicious authentic Italian food. Great service. We had the sharing platter to start and then the grilled fish special. Very generous portions and very good value.

A nice little independent Italian restaurant, near the station. Really good food, good friendly service, nice choice on menu. We found the wooden chairs hard and uncomfortable.

We had heard good things about L'aroma from friends and weren't disappointed. The restaurant was relaxed, welcoming and served great food. Great for a family catch up!

Great service and tasty Italian food, what can you want? The restaurant is in the centre of Woking so easy to reach by foot from our hotel.

Basic Italian cooking..reasonably good for a local Italian Fresh ingredients But Rather old fashioned in my opinion The steak was cooked well (rare) but very fatty..not the best quality meat The pasta dish was heavy on the sauce so all the seafood seemed to get lost in it Calamari to start was quite good..I've had worse I've had better I wouldn't return for the evening menu as it was overpriced but they do 2 courses at lunch time which looks good value

Average Slightly old fashioned in my opinion Dinner menu overpriced.. Calamari was quite good..steak was cooked well but very fatty The seafood pasta was heavy on the sauce ..the bits of fish got a bit swamped and lost I'd return for the lunchtime offer but not worth it for dinner..

Enjoyed the food but our coffees came before our puddings when we had asked for them afterwards! Service was a bit slow after main course.

Food is amazing, staff are very friendly, very spacious which is nice you don’t feel crammed and don’t hear others conversations. Service I liked, the waiters were there if you needed them, you didn’t feel rushed at all. Only downside is we booked a table and it wasn’t set, and only one person said their pasta was a little too undercooked but the rest of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

We have eaten at the L'Aroma restaurant many times before and we always find a friendly atmosphere with excellent service and great food. This time was no different and the food as usual was delicious.

Delicious and well presented food served by pleasant and attentive, but not intrusive, staff. We expected it to be more expensive but one starter, two mains, one dessert, a large glass of red, a small bottle of sparkling water and a liqueur coffee came to a little over £50. Much the same as we would expect to pay for a similar quality meal in our home town of Shrewsbury.

Wonderful home cook Italian menu. Reasonably priced. Menu offered an extensive choice of traditional Italian dishes. A great service with attentive and friendly waiters. Cannot wait to return!

Excellent service. Very accommodating and attentive waiters. Calzone and meal overall was excellent. We will return. I left my scarf and they are kindly looking after it until I can go to collect it. Thank you for a lovely start to our evening.

Lovely Italian restaurant with attentive staff, varied choice of dishes on the menu and specials with excellent value for money. We would highly recommend and definitely return for future meals.

We went for an early evening fixed price meal and found the quality to be excellent and the portions large. I had the mussels as an appetizer with pasta/aubergine/cream sauce as my main. My husband had the garlic bread pizza as a starter with chicken Milanese as his main. Great value for money.

Staff are very friendly, food is amazing, love the place!! The G is absolutely heavenly and I mean the G-bread, not God, pretty close too though!

Very nice and quick service food very tasty and the prices are also good , the only issue was that the restaurant was quite cold.

This was my first visit to L’Aroma. Comfortable and traditional restaurant. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Varied menu and the food was very good. Would definitely recommend.

We regularly use this restaurant in conjunction with a visit to the theatre and invariably early. This means there are usually few other diners and this detracts a little from the ambience. Food very good (my chicken was very slightly overcooked) and competitively priced. We will use the restaurant on our next visit to Woking.

Great service!!! Food not so good. Cheap quality ingredients. The fish wasn't fresh and the pizza wasn't good, pretty disappointed. It used to be my favourite restaurant but i won't go back! This is not an italian restaurant, very sorry because the staff is amazing!

The staff of this restuarant are very pleasant and helpfull. The food was very good. It was well cooked and the portions were generous and reasonably priced. It was a little chilly in the restaurant but it was a very cold night! We will be returning

The welcome, service and food were all very good, and the Christmas menu choice was wide. My party involved people from all over the south of England so its location close to the railway station is very convenient.
