Le Mistral - Sherwood

Really beautiful food . Best lunch I have had in a long time .Great atmosphere and a good place to meet Extensive menu, nothing not to like!

This place is a wonderful jewel.. the food is alway first class and along with the service never disappoints... well worth a visit and I will be definitely be going back

Excellent food (Confit Duck leg and Crepe of the day) but slow service at times. It can feel like you are being ignored by the waiter when he/she is working alone during a busy period.

The service was very good, the atmosphere was friendly and inviting, Polite service and the food was devine, I had the hake which was delicious. I forget how lovely this place it.

Excellent as usual. Food very nice, ambience good and a good choice of food. Specials again catered for all tastes and the wine selection was varied and reasonable value

Disappointed that on a Sunday evening we could not order a Sunday dinner....apparently as explained in a patronising manner by the chap with a French accent that we were too late at 6pm for Sunday lunch...won't be going to this restaurant again it's extremely snooty and in my view over priced. Not a good experience,

It was an excellent meal with a good choice of specials offered. Pleasant waiting staff who had a really good balance. Would definitely go back there.

Disappointed with the French onion soup and the service was only adequate. Unsure whether to try again for a meal although the omelette was delicious!

Lovely atmosphere, very friendly and helpful staff, tasty food, more vegetarian choices would help me, but all my friends had plenty to choose from! I will definitely be going again.

We had a lovely meal at Le Mistral in Sherwood last night, it was a celebration for a friends Birthday and the first time I had been. The food was excellent, the staff were lovely and I would certainly go back.

Good food and service. All staff were very attentive with a nice sense of humour. Food was well prepared and always hot or of the correct temperature. There was a good variety on the menu.

Friendly waiter, excellent food (I had the hake which was particularly good) and we liked the 2 mains and a bottle of wine for £29 midweek deal. Highly recommended! I've rated the waiting time as average, but that's good in a restaurant when chatting with friends.

At Le Mistral, there is always great service a lovely atmosphere and excellent food. It is usually my first choice of place to eat in Sherwood.

Excellent food, will happily return for more. Service ok, they messed up our order at first so waited to get what we wanted and it was worth it.

Fantastic authentic and huge portions - a great variety on the menu and a genuine French welcome - what more could you want? Oh and there is a brilliant deal of 2 mains and a carafe of wine for £26....bargain!

Great service, lovely atmosphere, friendly staff - one of my favourite restaurants in Sherwood. So cosy and intimate and the menu has something for everyone.

The meal was good, however, the waiter twice forgot our drinks order and at the end of the night the staff had coats on (11.30)

Although we arrived early it was no problem. Service was attentive but not overpowering and the food and house wine was excellent. Would certainly go back again.

Food excellent for all 4 of us. Service good dispite it being very busy. We have been at least 6 times before, but it was the first time for out friends, it's always been excellent, and our friends were impressed. We will all return. Keep up the good work.

A lovely atmosphere. Service was excellent, There was a lot of choice, including some delicious vegetarian options.Brilliant food and reasonable prices. Oh- and you don't have to pay to park!

Friendly ,relaxed, small restaurant .varied menu with daily specials . Staff happy to be flexible and provide a starter that was only available as a main menu choice. Food was beautifully presented and great flavours. Reasonably priced for quality of food.

The waiter appeared abrupt at the beginning of the evening but as the evening wore on he became far friendlier. The food was very good and the atmosphere great. Would definitely recommend eating here.

First time visiting but very impressed. The atmosphere was lovely and relaxed, the food was prompt, hot and utterly delicious. Very courteous staff; attentive but not invasive. Reasonably priced, excellent restaurant!

We went for Mussels night! It was a lovely place, very cute with character and there were no free tables even on a Tuesday night. Make sure you reserve a table! The mussels were lovely, they came with fries and a Belgian beer of your choice. The mussels were quite small though so it would've been nice to have bigger/fresher ones. Overall a good experience and I'll be back!

This is my third meal at le mistral and it just gets better each time! Absolutely gorgeous food, and a very cosy venue. 100% returning.

Good food and good service. I can recommend trying the regional menus which appear every month or so. Could benefit from having a couple more higher priced wines available

Lovely meal excellent service in a lovely homely authentic french restaurant. I had family over visiting and they were really impressed. We will definitely be going back!

Staff were incredibly helpful, and the food was divine! Made our birthday really enjoyable, and with a reasonable price tag, it didn't cost the Earth. Would highly recommend.
