It was a first time visit and we loved this little, cosy restaurant with its great food. The service was also lovely and the handwritten bill, added extra human touch. The only downside was our table which was at the very bottom and almost in the kitchen. The place was fully booked, and despite booking myself 2 weeks in advance, I guess I got the last table. My advice would be making that area a little more glamourous as -otherwise- the place is a gem.

La Petit Nantais is a family run restaurant that is a delight to visit and enjoy an excellent french meal. JP and Lisa, the owners and parents of two daughters also working in the business, engage with the patrons and make them feel welcome. Given the political climate in this country to tax small businesses like La Petit Nantais out of existence, I encourage everyone to book a reservation and enjoy the experience. Introduce yourself to JP and Lisa. You will return!!

Gorgeous food and wine as we've come to expect, and really well looked after by JP and Kim. Always a delight to visit Le Petit Nantais.

The welcome, ambience, service, food and wine we received were all truly brilliant. We could not have been made more welcome, treated as friends rather than merely customers. For no small reason is this restaurant at the top of the list in the area. It made for a wonderful venue for a particular and intimate celebration. We will have to hesitation in booking again when we are next in the area. If there was a 6 star, or ‘superlative’ category here, we would award it!

Very nice little authentic French restaurant in Moseley. Food was excellent! I highly recommend their Saucisses de Toulouse with mash. One of the best I’ve had.

We will definitely be returning to Le Petit Nantais! The food was simply delicious. Would thoroughly recommend the onion soup…. Best I have had. Then had monkfish with spaghetti, amazing flavour and textures. My partner had lobster mousse and veal filet with truffle both of which were divine. Marvellous bottle of Bordeaux, mini collection of deserts along with delicious muscat completed our meal. Everything tasted freshly prepared and cooked. Chef, who is the daughter of the owners is super talented and the service had a lovely family feel. Would thoroughly recommend.

This little gem of a restaurant is run by two generations of the same family; service, decor, menu, quality - a real restaurant. You won't be disappointed.

We have been to Le Petit Nantais a few times and love it. The food, wine, atmosphere and team there are all brilliant and it’s the best place to spend an evening with friends.
