Table was booked for 7:30 was greeted at the restaurant by staff and taken to our table. Ordered our drinks which arrived then our food order was taken. 8:30 came and still no food other than bread from set menu starter- 8:45 and we got one of the tapas plates- 9pm and our friends started to receive their mains however not even received starters. A further 20 mins and after speaking to the waiter our food started to arrive and it was delicious. Unfortunately most of us was past it as we had waited so long so as much as the food looked and tasted amazing the meal wasn’t enjoyed as much. I have to say though once we spoke to the waiter he handled it really well and was very honest and apologetic.

Great food and service. Had the set meal, menu B. Fab tastes. The amount of food nearly beat us!! We managed though! Definitely recommend this place.

Always enjoy food here however on this one occasion a chicken dish was not cooked properly and was rectified immediately by staff. I was a little disappointed to not receive a good will gesture for the inconvenience.

Brilliant service, great food and drink, nice and chilled atmosphere, heard it was good and they want wrong, highly recommended,will be definitely coming back for a return visit!👍🏻

Typically Spanish, great selection of tapas and cocktails, Spanish beers on tap and a week stocked bar. Friendly and efficient service even when full. Highly recommended!

Fabulous food and service as usual. We cannot fault anything...cocktails are a must try, the Pornstar Martinis are a must try if you love cocktails.

Love it here, staff are really helpful in helping you choose tapas, food is delicious! Good selection of gins and cocktails. Will definitely be coming back again!

Great freshly made food, wonderful and very helpful staff and a friendly atmosphere. Prices are very reasonable considering the high quality of the food. Regular offers and set menus mean there's always something new to try.

First time at Lids Tapas & cocktails, went for a birthday celebration, absolutely enjoyed everything, the food was delicious, each serving was beautifully cooked and brought to our table at different times to give you time to eat first few dishes without anything getting cold. The cocktails also were amazing. The staff were very courteous and made us feel welcome and attended to us throughout. The manager there was very informative and helped us choose our meal, acknowledged it was a birthday party & understood our requirements. Would definitely recommend and will go back for sure.

We had a really great night...lovely evening, great food, fab atmosphere and lovely staff! We will definitely be back for the gin and cheese evenings!

Very warm welcome from the man on shift that night, he helped us out all night with understanding the menu and cocktails, which made the experience better for us. Other staff wasn’t as keen but that’s the same every where in my opinion. The food was amazing but we really didn’t need 3/4 dishes each like we got told.. probably could of saved at least £10 each as we wasted a lot of it .. also found it a little rushed .. after we had our table cleared we got told to go down stairs if we wanted more drinks or to basically leave in a polite manner, which I’ve never experienced before so wasn’t sure how to take this. Cocktails.. some are very pricey to what you pay else where but that’s what you expect that from these places. Needs a heater upstairs though as we did get cold towards the end! Would probably come back here again but not for a while. Glad to have experienced it though.

The evening was excellent as always. Of course the tapas was very tasty. Great atmosphere too which is always good! Manager and staff efficient and friendly. Will definitely be back

Had the set menu which was so lovely and reasonably priced, we both was so full afterwards and very happy. Delicious food and will definitely go again!

Had a lovely night with a great atmosphere, food and drinks. The service was fabulous and the waited really made you feel relaxed and was very helpful. We went there for the lice music which definitely made our night. I love that the food is just served as soon as it is ready

The food and drinks were lovely and the atmosphere was nice. The Magician was also a nice touch, visiting tables. The only down side was the restaurant wasn’t warm enough. I had a little heater near me, however my Husband was cold all evening.

The Big table next to us were so noisy.. ruined our night. We couldn’t even hear what each other were saying. We sent one dish back though they did re do it to standard.

We went to the cheese and gin night , the food was lovely, friendly and attentive service, and really good value for money👍🏼😊 would definitely recommend.

Usually a very good experience when visiting lids but unfortunately overall I was rather disappointed. We was ignored at the bar but eventually was apologised to for the wait, when we was served the gentleman was very pleasant. The server was friendly enough but didn’t really seem to understand our order or the deals for that evening. It wasn’t by any means a bad experience but not as exceptional as it usually is. I will be returning as usually this is one of my favourite spots for good food and drink.

Absolutely fantastic atmosphere. The food was amazing as always as was the customer service. The cocktails are a must try..highly recommended..definitely will be back in the future.

Lovely food and cocktails. We were met at the door by a server who walked us to our tables and was our server for the full afternoon. Very clean place and lots of food to choose from with food coming out quickly and tasting great!

The food was lovely, the staff were extremely welcoming, really enjoyed it. We would certainly recommend Lids and we will visit again in the future.

This is the second time we have visited Lids and we weren't disappointed. The service is fantastic and friendly and the food is amazing. Only topped off with lovely cocktails handcrafted by the lively Hugo. It was certainly the perfect place to spend a romantic evening with my hubby for my birthday. Cannot wait for an excuse (and a babysitter!) to return.
