Beautiful tapas in an intimate setting! The restaurant is very small and set into two stories so feels even smaller which makes for a lovely homely feel! Food is amazing and wine is great too!

We came here for my Mums Birthday treat. The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was relaxed but with a great buzz! We left feeling very satisfied and will definitely return :)

The restaurant is extremely relaxed, the food is exceptional and the staff are very kind and friendly. I really enjoy this restaurant as I can practice my Spanish with the staff. We have been before and we will go again.

We ordered fish paella, a few Tapas to share, Sangria and dessert. The food is amazing and the atmosphere cosy. The place is quite small so it is essential to book in advance. The prices are also very reasonable. I will definitely go back to Lorentes.

Good food and service in a friendly atmosphere. A different selection of Tapas from the 'usual'. I recommend the pork cheeks (cant't remember the Spanish!)

Good atmosphere, fantastic food. Very reasonably priced. Loved it! Book again very soon. Our teenage son even enjoyed the experience and managed conversation and good food without need for any technology!!

A good night with friends. The place was busy all tables full(thurs night) Great atmosphere lovely food. There was a large group in and the place was full but service was amazing.

Food good, furniture a little bit uncomfortable and cramped. Staff very friendly . Clean . Nice atmosphere we went on a Saturday lunch quite busy. Would go again .

We were disappointed on arrival to be told we couldn't have the lunchtime deal as they no longer offered it at weekends. There was no mention of this on their website and Facebook page and it was still showing on the menu cover in the restaurant. I had booked on that basis so was unhappy and asked if they would honour it or give us a discount but the guy behind the bar said he couldn't as the manager wasn't there. Not a good start As a positive the food we did order was very good and reasonably priced so we enjoyed our visit.

Great place and great people, especially the owner. The good was excellent (recommend meatballs, chirizo in wine and pig cheeks in particular) such good value. Estrella on tap too.

Lovely restaurant, the food was lovely and even when it was busy we weren't left waiting long. The staff are also very lovely and attentive but not pushy with drinks or anything. Had a brilliant Saturday evening there

I've been to lorentes twice in the past two weeks. On both visits I found Excellent authentic food, a great ambience and a friendly service.

Good food with good service, would have helped if the staff had made it clear they needed the table back at 8pm they did seem to hover quite a bit then. Would definetly go back though as apart from that it was a really enjoyable experience.

I was recommended Lorentes by a friend and never seen this place even though I have been down this part of Derby many times. It was easy to book online even though we had to have an early booking at 5.30 as they were fully booked after that. When I arrived at the restaurant I was surprised at how small the place was and the décor didn't match the website I expected it to be a bit more typically Spanish. However, the service was quick friendly and efficient and the food was amazing - fantastic choice and authentically Spanish not like some "boil in the bag" type tapas I have had in other restaurants. We had 2 bottles of lovely red wine and the total bill came to less than £15 a head - bargain! The service was quick and efficient - highly recommended and will definitely book again - can't wait.

Very Good Food, Very Good Atmosphere, Very Good Service. Can't fault the evening. Also reasonably priced. Recommend booking quite a few days before as it gets very busy due to popularity.
