Lovely homely food in a chilled, friendly environment. We had a sharing plate which included the best vegan cheese pasta we have ever tasted. Thanks

Food for the soul! Lovely staff, lovely atmosphere and great music. Try the Rainbow platter and make sure you look at the beautiful crystals and handmade balms.

I have given loftgift 4/6 because it was overall a positive experience. Not only were the staff extremely amicable and efficient, but the food was great! The only downsides was the lack of clarity over what food was available and no card transactions

So good to have access to such delicious vegan food on your doorstep! I think I will definitely become a regular. Love the idea of the platter where you get to try a little bit of everything on offer that day.

Nice little spot, home cooked food, friendly welcoming staff but a little chaotic though. Loved the raw gf brownie and the homemade ginger beer . Does takeaways as well.

lovegift vegan is a vegan restaurant based in south east london in forest hill. the food has a caribbean influence and you can tell the love that has gone into the food. you are actually eating the rainbow. the restaurant is small with a few tables and has a nice laid back feel. it’s charming and colourful with lots to look at. it almost felt like we were just at one of our friends places for a meal. we started with homemade ginger beer (£1.50) and a freshly pressed juice (£1.50). for our main meal it was recommended that we tried the ‘rainbow platter’ (£8) which was a mixture of dishes. that night it was mixed salad with dressing, seaweed fritter, red lentil + vegetable dal, fried plantain, callaloo + potato curry in coconut milk, seasoned bulgar and mac + cheese. it was adorably served on a heart shaped plate. for dessert with had vegan wheat free cakes (£3). we tried a banana cake and a vanilla cake. we were told that there wasn’t much left of the vanilla cake left so we were asked if we wanted chocolate too and could have the rest of the vanilla cake for nothing extra. to finish we had chai tea made with coconut milk (£2) which was the perfect way to end the meal. we were also offered free refills too which was so generous. without a doubt this lovegift vegan is amazing value for money especially because you’re getting such wholesome cooked food. it was so nice to see the owner/chef come out and give us the food herself and have a little chat. there are also raw vegan options too. besides dining in, lovegift vegan also offers vegan food workshops and social gatherings. I’ll definitely be going back again.

We went here for mothering Sunday as my wife is trying out veganism. Well worth the journey, really great food and super friendly nice feeling place. Felt like a proper neighbourhood hub. I'm normally more omnivorous but might change if there were more places like this!

Great place with friendly vibes and excellent food. I didn't realise that they have a set menu. You can pick from a small (normal size) or a large plate and they add a little bit of everything. Curry, potatoes, salad, frittas...etc. I asked for food with garlic to be left out but there wasn't any anyway. They were happy to accommodate any requests. Dessert was coconut cake with vegan ice-cream or custard - delicious. Recommended!
