Ma Petite Jamaica

This is my second time here - love it. They have a varied menu & the portions are large. The staff are friendly. Highly recommendedd. Keep up the good work.

Really enjoyed the jerk chicken. Very good service and awesome atmosphere - would go back just for the music.

There was only one waitress taking orders and to even get her attention took a while. Atmosphere was good a bit too loud as i couldnt even hear my friend sitting across from me. But other than that food and drinks were good and i will definitely visit again.

Food was delicious and the service was great! We were running late, but they held our table and were so accommodating on our arrival. Portion sizes were good for the price, and when you ask for a cocktail, you can actually taste the alcohol! Highly recommend, would definitely come back!

We go often, always a good vibe and nice people although service can be slow at times, bartender rushing to make cocktails so no crushed ice or shaker used. We also got there a little later than usual and tried to order a dessert to be told the kitchen was closed which I wish we could have received some notification on as we have never had a dessert there before so thought we'd try one which I was quite looking forward to but last time we had considered a dessert they didn't have it available anyway. Also they never seems to have the peppered prawns either but either way I still love this restaurant and the food is always very good so can forgive the other things.

I had a great time (as always). The food was delicious and great value for money considering the portion sizes.

Great friendly service. Food absolutely amazing - freshly cooked and absolutely delicious. Fab cocktails too, even at the Happy Hour price. Good music and atmosphere. Would highly recommend!

We eat here a lot. And the batman and young waitress are always lovely but it just felt below par yesterday. My son ordered Mac n Cheese it arrives after he had finished eating. Also no hot pepper Sauce which is crazy in a Caribbean restaurant. Maybe it was just an off night. As we normally have a great time there

Lovely cosy quaint restaurant with tentative staff. Very small seating area slightly cramped however lovely atmosphete. Good food and excellent cocktails. Fast service. Decent food portions served.

i have been to this restaurant before and really enjoy the food every time but the wait time can be long to get your food and/ or a drink but the food is very good and the cocktails are delightful. staff are friendly and i would deffo recommend anyone to go here.

Customer service was excellent. There was an issue with our order being put through so it took longer to get our food to us but they were very apologetic to us and offered us a round of free drinks. Food was also amazing as always.

Ma Petite Jamaica serves Great food, in a really authentic Jamaican atmosphere and with very freindly staff all you can ask for. I've recommended this restaurant to freinds who also recommend others, no complaints yet.

Great food and really friendly atmosphere at reasonable prices. I recommend the jerk salmon. The happy hour on cocktails was good value for money too!

I was very pleased for my first ever try of Jamaican food. The food was delicious, good portion size and very nice atmosphere. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

I was disappointed that they didn’t sell Patties, as patties are a big part of Jamaican food to me, however the food was still really nice and customer service was okay.

Great food - good portion sizes, very flavoursome, good variety of dishes, very authentic. Love the decor. Suggestion: rice crackers or festivals or something to have on the table when people arrive as food does take a little while to come out! E.g @ Chinese they give prawn crackers, Indians give poppadoms. Also, some diffusers for the toilets downstairs not a great smell. Other than that it’s great. Been back twice already and will be bringing many more people here!

Delicious food definitely go again, likely to come back next week! Quality food. customer service could be a bit better but was decent service for a restaurant which was very busy

Nice location, a lot bigger than it looks from the outside. Staff are friendly and the food was amazing, great portions. Only reason I did not give full marks is because I had to wait a while for my bill at the end. Other than that I can not fault them and will definitely be going back here again.

The food here is great. Every dish I have had has been good. The staff are friendly however sometimes because I have been there many times I can sometimes be taken for granted.

Service has gone down hill. We Used to love coming here but the standards have dropped massively.. Saltfish fritters were lovely however the Brown stew chicken was chewy, items on the menu always unavailable also they never have desert instock so they might aswell take it off the menu. Overall a disappointing visit

Been here a few times now & their food never fails to meet my expectations! Got a slightly different starter today of bbq chicken pieces with mini festival but it was amazing too! No complaints whatsoever :)

Great food at a fab price. We had he rk chicken and it was absolutely fab! Although the wait time was a bit long but considering it was Mother’s Day it was understandable

Very disappointed. Food - salt fish fritters lacked salt fish, but Jerk salad was excellent. Curry Goat was an ample serving and tender. Service could be better, and no desserts!! I've never experienced a restaurant that has no desserts. I hate to say this but It's very unlikely we will go again.

The place is relatively smaller than it looks online. But if you like the cozy, rustic hideaway you can only find in London - it's A+ for that. The music behind the bar, cocktails and the always smiling, dancing bar man makes for a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly and for most part tasty food, loved the appetizers. I gave a 5 out of 6 rating because am a pescatarian and was given the wrong meal (instead of fish, pork was placed in front of me), I was skeptical and asked if it was fish, because everything jerk seemed to be cooked and have the same sauce poured over it. I was assured it was fish - took a bite and it was pork (to my dismay). if the staff can't tell the difference between jerk fish and pork how am I suppose to. I ended up getting vegetable curry instead as I still wasn't convinced about the fish that was put in front of me. I just didn't want to take the chance. They took the price of the fish and veg curry off the bill at the end and the staff was very kind and apologetic. I will go again because of the atmosphere and cocktails but will stick to veg. My Freind however, had an excellent time and enjoyed her jerk pork meal.

Great food, banging music and cool atmosphere. Curry goat tastes like grandma's. Cant wait to go again and next time bring all my friends :)

Good overall experience shared from start to end. The welcome and attention to detail for service was good but had to endure wait with food experience most love to visit again soon.

The food is excellent - cant fault it. As a West Indian, I can absolutely recommend as the food was very well cooked and authentic but with a twist - due obviously to chef who looked like a serious west Indian no-nonsense cook. The restaurant as its name implies is small but has a nice Caribbean vibe. I was more than satisfied and will be returning with family often. one star lost for waitress service - while not rude the customer care was a bit lacking; no smiles or checking if we were happy with the meal or needed anything (just one of the waitresses) she must have had a long hard day and we all know how that can make you feel. Will definitely visit again and recommend

The restaurant is small, however the staff are very welcoming. The food was excellent and good value for The price paid. Highly recommended will visit again soon

It's improved on customer service, however there was a lot on the menu that I originally ordered that they didn't have in stock. Guniess punch, oxtail stew. Only two dessert choices. I mean come on people. Sort it out. Disappointed

7 of us had a great time for my son's birthday. Great drinks and lovely food and decent prices. We went in afternoon so only had the set menu but was not disappointed really nice and relaxed. A nice little restaurant with music in background which didn't blast out your conversation. Highly recommend.

This is my fourth time to Ma Petit Jamaica, they have yet to disappoint me. The food is always really tasty and hot and it doesn't take hours to come. The music is on point as are staff members, they are always polite and efficient. Will definitely be going again.
