Mae Ping Thai in Beckenham is a charming little restaurant that adds a touch of creativity to classic Thai dishes. Signature dishes include seared scallops with a chilli & lime vinaigrette as well as Thai curries and sizzling plates that go big on lemongrass and Thai basil. Ingredients are always high-quality and Mae Ping Beckenham serve a few dishes from elsewhere in Southeast Asia as well, along with plenty for vegetarian or gluten-free diners. You’ll find this little London gem on Beckenham High Street, just around the corner from Beckenham train station where it’s always wise to arrive armed with an advanced reservation.
Service was great, starters were absolutely lovely but main course (chicken pangeng & crying tiger) were a big disappointment. Shame as we were hoping this would be a regular where we would could bring family and friends.
