Restaurant was very busy on arrival, looks like they have put as many tables a physically possible leave little room for moving. Starter ( chicken tikka and a mix grill ) was fantastic. Main ( chicken balti and a prawn vindaloo) not so good , sauce was little and watery. Rice and nann bread was adequate. Felt uncomfortable in the restaurant due to no air conditioning being put on. 5 /10
Wonderful food and Halim our waiter gave excellent advice. We love Indian food and Maharaja was right up there.
Overpriced and additional hidden service fee was added ontop, food was decent.
Small establishment well-managed. Attentive service. Food was fine for me
Good indian food, tasty anf spicy, small portions, slow service
Quandoo is closing down. This is a planned, phased process and our platform remains available until 30 September 2026.
Delicious food and service. A bit spicy even meal is not mentioned as spicy.
Really good food. Sensible price. Great team providing fun and excellent service.
The food was great, service was a bit rushed but it was quite busy so that's understandable. Was helped quite well.
It was okay until we found we were charged twice for the meal.
small restaurant with great food, good service,. Sitting outside was no choice for is due to traffic.
It is good, But it was noisy because the restaurant was so small and full.
Slow service and cold drinks. Food average, very small starters.
Leckeres Essen in entspannter Atmosphäre, netter Service, aber eher eng.
Das Essen war gut. Die Rechnung sollte man unbedingt kontrollieren.
Absolutely horrendous experience. The food was outrageously overpriced and tasted awful — the onions were charred beyond recognition. To make things worse, the staff were shockingly rude and arrogant, as if they were doing us a favour by serving us. This place is an utter disgrace. Left completely disgusted and furious. Wouldn’t recommend this dump to my worst enemy.
Lovely food and quick service, only issue was we were quite crammed in wasn’t really enough space on table for dishes
I had a lovely lunch and enjoyed the chicken tikka which had a lovely smooth sauce and the chicken was tender. The staff are helpful and the location is great if you heading in or out of the city.
Honestly, very bad service—very aggressive and impatient management. Poor maintaince, The food is not at all tasty. If you like spices, don’t come to this place. Thank you!
Incredible food and beyond fantastic service!!! Will absolutely recommend to everyone who loves authentic Indian cuisine!
Service started great then our server disappeared… after a wait another server showed up and had to come back twice to understand the order. Wanted to wait to try the food to write a review but not sure when food will arrive. Service horrible
Very good service from start to finish. Food was lovely, and plenty of it too. Was a very hot day and air con would have been nice to have. Over all a good experience
Great food! Crispy filo samosas and bhajis. Great , well flavoured lamb rogan gosht. Great service. Will def come back!
Enjoyed my lunch here and the menu offers plenty of choices so you will be able find something to suit your taste. I had the butter chicken will definitely have it again.
We did have a good time and everything went very well, the prices are very good
A wonderful Indian restaurant in the West End! Excellent food.
Very nice Service ! Very friendly! Food was very delicious! We enjoyed it very much and can really recommend it ! Thank you !
The food was excellent, but it took close to an hour to get the starters we ordered, which were served a couple of minutes before our main dishes
The restaurant was busy but have to day the food was not as good this time, maybe a different chef on service today so that can make a difference.
Didn't like the food. Didn't really feel worth as 4.8 rating.
Semplice buono per una cena informale e carina a Londra
Lovely food. Friendly service. A little slow but it was busy.
Amazing food and great service! Would definitely go back! Loved it.
Best papadums ever; excellent naan; butter chicken was very good; gravy on lamb panda was very good, however the lamb seemed old and tough.
Was a bit noisy and crowded. Food was good service was ok
it was amazing, delicious food!! we’ll come back again for sure!!
Unfortunately we couldn't wait for our food due to other obligations. It took nearly 10 minutes to be acknowledged and provided water after seating. After ordering we received no information or food for over 35 more minutes. Informed staff we had to depart and see told the food would be ready in "two minutes" but I didn't have confidence in that so we departed.
Had to ask for basic things like a napkin and water. Soda was served warm not chilled. Food was not warm and looked like it came from a buffet, one example being butter chicken with sauce so thick you could virtually stand a spoon in it. Staff started cleaning the table off even before we could get out of our chairs. Worst Indian food and service I’ve ever had.
Had a nice meal and the quality is good for the prices of the dishes. Location is good and handy if you are pressed for time.
Busy Saturday and focus was on churning as many covers through as possible. Some was due to people going on to shows but felt like you were in the way as soon as you had put the fork down. Food was OK. Restaurant is narrow so feels busy and loud.
Lovely food,no drinks menu. No toilet paper in toilet! Very friendly staff.
It was a worst experience, food was terrible, unbearably spicy, service was pathetic, made to wait for 20-30 mins outside. I had booked it for a group of my friends and was too embarrassed at the end, never again!
Beware of entering in this restaurant. Service is awful and the food is lacking any taste. Worst Indian food ever tasted in London. Save yourself and try another place.
A good typical Indian, a busy restaurant inb5he middle of London
Spicy but very good! Tables are too close each other for me
Food was excellent. Staff was very friendly! I will be back there soon.
The location is good if your coming into to the city by train and want a meal close to theatre district or if your heading home. The food is good and I had a butter chicken that was really tasty.
We enjoyed our entire experience. Greeted warmly at the door, invited , seated immediately. Server was attentive and engaging. Food was amazing. Tables weren't too close for private conversation. Very nice!
Really good meal and staff friendly. Very good virus here.
Wonderful food. Funny restaurant with nice waiters and good drinks
Great food, great service. An absolute gem of a find
