This place is fantastic! Great and friendly service, amazing vegetarian and meat-lovers' food and some really unusual dishes not found elsewhere in the area. Just go.

We love the maharaja. It has been the best Indian restaurant in Telford for the past 30 years. Quality food. We are never disappointed. Amazing.

My husband and I came to this restaurant for the first time on Saturday 18th February 2017. After reading excellent past reviews about the Maharajah it mostly certainly lived up to expectations. Our meal was excellent. Staff were attentive and friendly. The whole evening was fantastic. We look forward to our next visit very soon.

We were welcomed and shown to our table without fuss. Drinks were bought promptly whilst we contemplated a long menu. We finally took the easy way out and had they set menu. It was an excellent choice - each new course came soon after the previous one. We finished the evening contentedly full. Will certainly return in the future to sample more of the menu.

Me and my husband were warmly welcomed. The service was second to none, and the food was gorgeous. Will definitely be back, again, best Indian I've ever had.

Was unaware that I could have received a 10% discount for booking online if I had paid by cash until the point of payment on my card! It was the first time I had used their online booking, I was oblivious to the discount, it could have been honoured because of this and wasn't. Recipes have changed since we were last there. My girls adore their Tikka Masala but there were sultanas in it this time which has put them off slightly. Personally I still love the food but this visit was tainted slightly by the above.

four of us visited for the first time on Valentine's Day. We didn't know but this was my father in law's first Indian restaurant experience! Although full when we arrived we were served quickly and efficiently. The food was tasty and enjoyed by all the party including our novice. It would have been useful to have known that one of the prawn dishes chosen included the shells as well, we might have avoided it had we known, otherwise we hope to return again. It was also reasonably priced.

Food and service very good arriving quickly and efficiently, the only problem we had was the restaurant was very cold, this would not put us off returning but would like to have more heating on

Maharaja in Madeley Telford is simply the best Indian Restaurant in Shropshire. The ambience is spot on, friendly staff above and behond the call of duty which is matched only by the food. We have been regular patrons here for 20 years...have tried others but nobody can hold a candle to the complete experience of the Maharaja.
