Malaga Tapas’ owner and operator Cristobal is something of a culinary celebrity in his chosen neighbourhood of Pollokshields, in Glasgow’s Southside, having made television appearances to showcase his kitchen’s take on the Spanish tapas phenomenon and, moreover, providing diners at his St Andrews Road premises with a fantastic local spot for good food and wine, seven days a week from noon until late. And with great deals on each of those seven days designed to keep loyalists loyal, newcomers hooked, and theatregoers prepped for the show, Malaga Tapas is a popular destination.
The first of Malaga Tapas’ daily deals is one long happy hour indeed. Reserve a spot between noon and 7pm and be treated to your choice of small-plates, including those from the specials board, for a fantastically discounted price. If you’re taking in a show in Glasgow (Tramway, the Scottish Ballet, The Apollo Players, and the Citizens Theatre are all within easy reach of Pollokshields), book between 5pm and 7pm and enjoy three tapas plus either a glass of Spanish sangria or a dessert, again for a great price.
