Great food, good service, brilliant atmosphere. Very easy to book a table on this website. Made the evening a great occasion. And the pannacota was incredible!

Food as always delicious and hot but I’m afraid to say the service was poor. We were celebrating a birthday and we had to wait for a waitress to serve us. Every time we wanted to order food or drinks.

Ours was a lunch time experience and the restaurant was very quiet (a rainy day in mid February!), but the food and service were excellent. The evening hustle & bustle create a more Italian feel, but we enjoyed the quite relaxation of our lunch; it was nice to hear ourselves speak without effort although maybe a little background music would have added a little more atmosphere. However, we were there to eat and the food was lovely hence the 5 rating! A&H Feb. 2018

We were a party of five on a wet February evening. We felt welcome immediately and the food was excellent. We would all go again, and I am sure we will!

A great meal at one of the best Italian restaurants I've ever been to. I love this place, it's food is always good and it's cooked fresh too which is even better. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Topsham.

Lovely food, excellent service. We were made very welcome. It was lunchtime and only one member of staff was on duty, but he did a great job as chef, waiter and maitre d'.

I had heard mixed reviews about Marcello's ironically after I had booked, however we weren't disappointed, the starters and main courses that we had were excellent. The restaurant was busy and had a good atmosphere, would definitely go back!

An English perception of Italian food but cooked and presented well. Service was excellent and prices good. Would recommend to anyone and I would go again.

The restaurant was very cold.Unfortunately the staff were unable to close the large front window owing to a malfunction which resulted in a very in uncomfortable environment. As a consequence we half ate our very mediocre main course and then left to thaw out! We would not be recommend this restaurant.

The best Italian in the Exeter area with great food, wine and service. We have been going for years and the quality remains very high.

We like this restaurant for its friendly atmosphere, good quality unfussy food, efficient friendly staff and Italian wine. It's a while since our last visit & we wondered whether the meat supplier has changed, our fillet steaks were not quite as top notch as our past experience, still good though. Also, just a tad too much garlic in the kale for our taste.

It's a great restaurant that serves great food. One of the best Italian restaurants I've ever been to. I wish there was one near where I lived

Enjoyable evening on Friday. On arrival; restaurant not too busy. However was sat next to another couple of diners; with the tables being incredibly close together I felt I was part of their conversation. Food was wonderful however.

Great little Italian bistro. Our 2nd visit - good variety of choice on the menu - all the dishes are home-made and excellent quality. Friendly service. Would recommend.
