Massalla Lounge

Great food,staff are very friendly. The free ice cream,sweets and shots are a lovely touch at the end of the meal. Would recommend to anybody looking for a nice Indian restaurant.

We have been going to Massalla Lounge for some years and have never had a bad meal there, the staff are welcoming its a great experience.

Place was OK, service was OK, but food was pretty ordinary. Wouldn't rush back there. Nothing else worth saying, i'm just doing this to get to 25 words

Good menu, lovely food and excellent service - all at a very reasonable price. We were also given complementary ice-cream and shots after our meal, which was a lovely, unexpected touch. Will definitely go back.

As soon as we arrived it was welcoming and the service was brilliant no problems at and the food was absolutely delicious I will be defiantly going there again and telling other people to go there

This is the second time that we have visited massalla lounge and on both a occasions we have had excellent food and service, we would highly recommend to anyone.

Excellent evening of fabulous freshly cooked food. A wide choice to suit everyone, great staff and superb value! One of if not the best Indian cuisine experiences in Worcester.

It was ok but was expecting more due to the great trip advisor reviews. The papadums were a bit stale and the dips nothing special. Again the mains were very average and my girlfriends chicken saag tasted a bit burnt. But we were offered a few complimentary items such as sweets and ice cream which was a really nice touch, it was just a shame the food didn't live up to the hype of Worcester's best Indian.

Excellent food! Had the £14.95 offer, starter, main and a Nan or rice dish. Also got complimentary fruit, ice cream, sweets and a baileys! Lovely meal!

Lovely atmosphere with very friendly staff. Our food was really great and the jalfrezi was the best I've ever had. My favourite Indian restaurant by far - loved it.

The food here is good and the staff are welcoming. It needs to be a bit sharper on the service. We would go again, but perhaps when it's quieter?

The service was a little slow because it was very busy. It was slightly expensive for what was relatively routine food but overall it was OK

Just dropped into Worcester to attend a concert at the Huntingdon Hall and fancied a curry before the show. Saw the Massalla Lounge earlier in the day and decided to give it a try. Glad I did. Dining alone I obviously didn't sample much of the menu, but what I did have was excellent Bangladeshi cuisine. Started with tandoori chicken, expecting somewhat dry chicken chunks on a skewer and was delighted to receive perfectly seasoned and cooked moist half chicken breast. On to the main where I had King Prawn curry with an Allo Gobi side. Again, perfectly cooked and seasoned. A nice touch at the end was the free dessert and brandy. Great meal, the folks operating here have a good thing going.

We visited the massala,for the first time the food and service ,were very good ,will go back soon,the staaff were very helpful and happy at their work.

The restaurant was very overcrowded . Kept being bumped in to by staff and customers trying to get through gap next to our table. Due to this extremely noisy had to shout across to speak to each other and waiters having to shout as food arrived.Food was good but ruined by ambience

Fantastic night had by all. Food was great, lovely restaurant and the staff couldnt have been more helpful and friendly. This was our first time at Massalla Lounge but we will certainly be back very soon.

Except for the fact that making a reservation online via quandoo did not work, we had a lovely evening. It was fortunate that the restaurant could cater for an unexpected party of 9!!

The food is wonderful and the staff are very attentive. The new owner has greatly improved the restaurant with a few personal touches and it is very welcoming when you go through the door. My granddaughter who is 9 received great service when we took her there and she felt very special, we would not go anywhere else for our curries.

Excellent food and excellent service. Lovely to get such a lot of complimentary things after the main meal. Well worth every penny. Would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Worcester.

Excellent food but service was a bit up and down. A busy Saturday night. Ordered drinks, didn't arrive. Ordered again, still didn't arrive.Third attempt, we had drinks. Starters arrived too quickly, we hadn't finished the poppadums. Main course was also very rapid to arrive. Asked for the bill, it didn't arrive. Had to ask a second time. A pity about the service as the food was superb. We would visit again but maybe on a quieter week night.

Amazing meal, delicious food, good value, attentive staff. We were really pleased and enjoyed our experience there. We would definitely return again in the future.

I know this Restaurant well, and we visit often. Service is outstanding, but the food is truly the best Indian I have ever (virtually) eaten. Not expensive, just brilliantly good. If you try it, I assure you will not be disappointed.

Excellent food with an attentive service. Could do with an automated billing system. Diners queue in front of a Manager with a biro and calculator which makes the processing of payments a little slow during busy periods.
