Lovely food, Peter looked after us very well, took a takeaway also ! Really good ... see you again soon ...
Very nice food fresh and tasty. Staff was friendly 👍
As always the food, staff and atmosphere were all on point. One of my favourite restaurants.
It was really good. I loved the service and it was amazing
Food was good - not exceptional but not bad. Service was weird..really abrupt, not welcoming. Felt rushed and awkward - not what i expect from a restaurant with those prices. The thing i just cant get my head around was the optional service charge (it said opt on the reciept!!! - which turns out is not optional at all) We only paid half of it, not the full amount as we felt service was lacking. One of the staff chased us down the street and insisted we pay the rest..i mean how embarrassing! Im not sure thats even legal!
Excellent food - pricey but worth the extra. Some staff a little stern - others good.
This is our 4th visit to Maximini , so that’s says it all. I really enjoyed everything from the starters of dumplings , wasabi prawns , hot and sour soup to mains of beef dishes , duck pancakes and sea food noodles . My husband had sea bass but didn’t think it was spicy enough ! Good value for central London . Biggest thing for us it’s halal.
Food was great and super quick. Dessert was uneventful. Good restaurant but not quite what I expected from Jimmy Choo. I expected more sophistication, chic and maybe fine dining but it nothing more than an upmarket kopitiam....
Excellent food and service. Would definitely recommend friends to eat
Always love it. Food a little cold today but still very nice.
Great food and very friendly service with a comfortable relaxed yet smart setting.
Absolutely dreadful we ordered a prawn and sweet corn soup, with chicken dumplings and prawn crackers. The prawn sweet corn soup had no prawns in it, despite there was hardly any customers. Don’t know how they got that wrong. The orange juice tastes funny was old I asked the waitress to change it. For mains we ordered prawn noodles, beef in black bean sauce, and egg fried rice. Both the noodles and egg fried rice had no seasoning, I mean does the chef not taste his food before he dishes out to the customer? I’ve been here before and the last time it was horrible I’d give it a chance again but this I won’t be coming here again food was absolutely terrible and service was okay.
Excellent food, excellent service. The perfect valentines place to eat. Loved the hot and sour soup, chilli beef and the crispy duck with pancakes and plum sauce.
Excellent foods great ambience and perfect hosts! A must try for all , good value for money and easy parking space available!!! What more can one ask for in London
Didn't get a table even though we booked online, we turned up only to be turned away. So kind of defeats the whole point of online booking. My advice would be just ring them.
Great food. Nice service. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed our evening The service was great and fluid. We definitely will return again.
Not as tasty as I expected, the lamb tasted rather chewy. Completely empty when I got there, location is nice. Wanted to try because of jimmy choo
Ordered the usual at Maximinis - the duck, chilli fried beef & sambal udang - the food was amazing! We especially loved the duck wrap!
The food, service and staff were all excellent, thank you. The only reason I did not give a rating of 6 is because the restaurant was cold. Apart from this, we all have a wonderful time.
Tasty food, good house white wine, friendly staff. Garlic chicken wings, singapore noodles, chilli beef and garlic broccoli all recommended! Not cheap but certainly not extortionate.
Every thing was perfect, the food exceptional, you couldn't wish for better service and would definitely go back and recommend. Thanks to staff for making it a special evening.
It's my favourite Chinese restaurant in London. I love the Chili prawn and black pepper lamb. Actually I love every single dish I ordered tonight. It's the best Chinese restaurant in London
