great meal - as always. Waiter is always keen to recommend alternative dishes to our choice - more authentic and spiced to our liking. go for a beer in pub in precinct at same time!
The restaurant is spotlessly clean and bright. The staff are fantastic, very welcoming, polite and helpful and very efficient. The food is very good and well presented.
The food served was excellent, all freshly made and high quality. The service was great as well. Very clean. We had the lunch special and it was great value.
The presentation of the restaurant interior was impressive, service was excellent, and the food very tasty. No complaints from either of us. Will return soon.
We went to Maya to celebrate my wife's 68th Birthday with friends who I might add are curry nuts, as per usual when we have used Maya the staff were brilliant often recommending dishes or even a variation on the chosen dish, our accompanying guests were most impressed and are looking forward, as am I, to going again. If I could give it a star rating I would give it 10 out of 10.
MAy th e owner greeters with a jolly hand shake and hello.THe staff were attentive without visual effort. The food I am not an expert on Indian food but it was lovely Maya was very helpful with our choice
Pro's: - Coat's taken on arrival - Food was good - Nicely presented restaurant - Nice ambience Con's: - The majority of the staff seemed less than enthusiastic, the manager or whoever the younger suited chap was is the exception to this and was very friendly - Despite literally having our party of 3 and 1 other table of 2, it took a long time to take our order after the initial drinks order and a second drink order was forgotten. - No hot towel / wipe to clean up after meal (minor detail) Overall: I enjoyed the food which is the main concern when eating out, staff just need to be a little more attentive is all.
Very stern and abrupt waiter - no service with a smile. Mango chutney was watered down and like soup, onion bhajee very greasy, Ceylon had neither spice taste or heat to it at all and the salmon was dried out with an accompanying salad which would struggle to qualify as a garnish. Wine was ok. Nicer setting to sit in than sunrise but service and food not as good.
Excellent food and excellent service. There was a great variety of chef specials as well as more traditional Indian dishes. Looked exceptionally clean, I would recommend this restaurant and will be returning.
Very nice but slow in getting served a drink the food was excellent but not happy with the card payment as it was set to add a gratuity luckily we noticed as we nearly add a 80 tip
