McCooley's - (Mathew Street)

We were a large group and when I rang to confirm my booth I was offered another booth to accommodate my party. Great customer service! When I arrived we were given a large table instead of booths which I was a little disappointed with. However this actually worked best for the size of our party so well done McCooleys. The floor and bar staff were great as always.

Service was poor as we got our food at separate times and they messed up an order so yeh wouldn’t go there if your looking for a high level of service, also... stake was the worst I’ve ever had taste wise

Due to complications with booking. Normal just straight forward. When got there. Didnt have a table for us. Sorted in the end . Wasnt great at first

Great service. Waitress was really quick. Drinks were cheap and atmosphere was good too. Great for the sports as there’s loads of telly on every wall too

Good experience apart from door staff asking everybody on top floor to leave immediately as the floor was closing 5 minutes after match had finished. Hadn’t even put my coat on and was again told to pick up my drink and take it downstairs.

I booked a table for 10 people, turned up and was given a bench that seated about 8 at a push. Staff were lovely and friendly and did their best to help but it was too busy to move us so we had to stay squashed with a few of the group having to stand and eat standing up.

Can’t fault the table service, only issue was that the seats were not in a very good view of the screens, although we could move the seats so wasn’t too bad

We went with our disabled daughter who is a wheelchair user. The staff couldn’t do enough to help even though it was a busy Saturday afternoon. Along with quality food at a reasonable price this made our visit very enjoyable. Looking forward to our next visit .

Had a lovely meal here. My steak and chips was delicious. Great service too and able to use taste card on a Friday night. Definitely worth a visit for food and atmosphere.

Prefer the concert Square location but the food is excellent still. Staff friendly. Pub is clean. Had the cock and bull and the peppercorn sauce was amazing. Will definitely go back

The place was bouncing as it was Roma v Liverpool so we didn't expect fast service etc ...the food and staff were excellent despite the rowdiness so defo recommend!

Great seating location to watch the football and the waitress was lovely and friendly, would definitely book again and watch any sorting events there with the amount of television’s you won’t miss a thing

Booked a table on quando and got a confirmation. Turned up and they never had us on there system and put us next to a large stag party

The one thing I love about McCooleys is the consistently great atmosphere coupled with service that makes you feel at home... don't even get me started on how good the food is

Perfect for watching the football and cheap ale too with Guinness at less than three quid a pint. Staff helpful and courteous. Will come back. Recommended.

Good food, what you need when having a few pints. Great place to watch the football screens everywhere so it doesn't matter where you are. Great atmosphere going on inside there, live music on after the commentary for the match.

Fantastic quality food, in comfortable surroundings, staff can't do enough. I would recommend anything of breakfast menu or the grill. Good choice of beer and good coffee too

Had such an amazing day here! Staff were amazing and great atmosphere. Slightly let down by the lack of toilets which for 4 floors to only have one set was a nightmare, the wait was at least 40 mins each time! Everything else... amazing.

Great St Patrick’s day and night. Very busy bar. But as we had booked a table we had a waitress for the evening and had a tab.
