Medlar is in a peculiar location far from public transport but it's worth the effort to get there if you're looking for a relaxed, low-key evening out with terrific food.

We go to medlar every year for our wedding anniversary. We were there last night, and the food was amazing and the staff couldn’t have been more lovely. They really went above and beyond to look after us and I am so grateful. (Also, the passion fruit marshmallow petit fours are off-the-scale delicious!)
