About Meejana - Weybridge

A Middle Eastern feast in the heart of Weybridge, Meejana is everything you could want for and more in a Lebanese restaurant. They opened in 2007, and over the last decade they have been serving the good people of Surrey with the authentic tastes of their homeland, with a menu that goes further than the standard hummus and shawarma dishes. They’re open every day for lunch and dinner at their location on Church Street. They look forward to welcoming you.

Further Information

Surrey’s Meejana has all the things that we love about Lebanese restaurants – a huge mezze selection, shawarma and kofte kebabs, an outdoor shisha area – but they don’t just leave it at that. Their menu takes what most Lebanese joints see as the be-all-and-end-all and uses it as a jumping off point, a position from which to explore the full variety and diversity of the food. From their location on Church Street in Weybridge, they offer more than just a menu: they offer a full dining experience, which is best enjoyed by a large group.

While some of their specialities are best split across your whole party – mezzes, for examples – some of the most authentic dishes that they offer at their Weybridge outlet on Church Street must be enjoyed by a large group. Surrey locals with a special occasion in mind should consider the kharouf mhashi, a whole lamb, stuffed, baked, served up with spiced rice and gravy and good for up to 20 people. You’ll need to book that one in advance, of course, but we recommend always reserving ahead of time: they can get awfully busy.

It's such a lovely restaurant. Very nice food, lovely service and nice/romantic atmosphere. Whenever we come here it's good experience. I recommend backlava - one of the best I've tried!

This has got to be my favourite restaurant of all time. Even after all these years (6yrs to be exact), I love the food (cooked FRESH... so be patient!)... Exactly how I like it, and most of all unbeatable hospitality & service. The menu is authentic Lebanese, selection of fish, vegetarian & meat, all labelled clearly for those with allergies (so easy to pick from!) & the staff are helpful in making sure the delivery of food is second to none. We also had a cheeky Shisha outside after our meal, accompanied by drinks & a warm blanket, to create an amazing atmosphere. Thank you for the amazing food & amazing service (as always)... Meejana!

Good menu with plenty of choice but we went for the easy option of the set menus - with a couple of extras as there were so many good things to choose from. Portion sizes are perfect as you leave feeling pleasantly full but not stuffed. Everything looked and tasted beautiful. Fresh ingredients prepared well with an excellent mix of flavours and textures. Delicately spiced but packed with taste. Food I could eat every day and never get bored. Beautiful surroundings. Nice staff - what more could you ask for?

As always, Meejana doesn't disappoint. The food is just outstanding. Even although we've moved 35 mins away from the restaurant, we still like to go there as there are simply no better Lebanese tapas to be found anywhere else. The food is always freshly made and with high quality ingredients and you can taste that.. full of flavour. We always have some fun with the owners too, which makes it all the more special!

Our 1st visit to a Lebanese restaurant, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful in guiding us through the menu. We wanted to experience a variety of the dishes on offer, so we decided to order a wide mezze selection. The food was flavoursome , well cooked and well presented. The day of our visit was their 10th anniversary. We will certainly return to sample more of the menu and great atmosphere.

I have eaten out for almost 50 years in multiple countries (including the Lebanon and other Middle Eastern countries) and countless restaurants. I have eaten here on a number of occasions and this is my favourite meal anywhere with any cuisine. I should say I have no connection otherwise with the restaurant. My only misgiving is that by praising it I will find it more difficult to get a table!

The staff were very friendly and food was excellent. If you intend to visit the restaurant I would call before hand to see if they are doing outside catering that evening as they concentrated on this and we were left a very long before our starter and in between. We arrived at 7.15pm and probably left just after 10pm. When a restaurant charges are so high I expect a more tentative service. The 3 people working there were very friendly when they served us but there was nothing in between. no one asked how the meal was, did we need any more drinks etc.

Lovely interior, friendly and helpful staff with absolutely fantastic food! We were staying in the area for a spa break and found this treasure from an Internet search, we were so pleased we did! Extensive menu giving lots of choice but that didn't effect the quality of the food. Would definitely recommend this restaurant, we will be back and will also try the sister restaurant in London.

Great food and lovely staff! Highly recommend dining here. Thanks to the food being freshly prepared there is a pleasant delay between each course. And it was refreshing not to feel rushed so that they could increase table turnover. The staff were lovely and welcoming - quite different from many dining experiences now where staff don't seem to give a monkeys about good customer service!

We have been to this restaurant a number of times mainly because it's possibly the best Lebanese food we've had! I am a vegetarian but there's always so much variety but most importantly the food is of great quality and very fresh. Great value for money and the manager of the restaurant always looks after you - service is fantastic. Thank u Mejaana!

Excellent food and service. Probably the best-tasting middle-eastern food I've tried in Surrey. Prices were also reasonable and the fact they don't try to flip tables by having 2 sittings makes for a relaxed evening. Our waiter even suggested we cut back on our order as it was going to be too much food!! Highly recommend and will return.

This was our first visit and we were not disappointed. Although the service was slow to start with, it improved once the food starting coming. The food itself was delicious. We chose starters and mains but next time we will pick a set meal as we saw other tables have a constant stream of small dishes which looked very interesting. We will definitely go back.

The meal was perfect, my sister was celebrating her 40th Birthday and she really enjoyed it. The only negative I would say about the evening is the service was slow after the main course was served due to how busy the restaurant was, however this did not spoil our evening. I've been to the restaurant a couple of times and would definitely go again.

Excellent food, excellent service, excellent atmosphere. We had a lovely lunch and will be back soon. We sat In the front of the restaurant today and I noticed for the first tome how interesting the various items of furniture are. Much more welcoming than the slick look of many modern restaurants.

Excellent food, service and ambience as ever. We were even treated to some complimentary birthday cake! We shared four mezze dishes - falafel, aubergine, fattoush and spinach parcels (really delicious). Recommend for light meals, full dinners and takeaway lunches and suppers. Next goal is to try the delivery service....

Great food and great choice. Whilst I'm no expert on Middle East cuisen it certainly tasted authentic. Pricing seemed reasonable for the area and the service was good. Even saw the chef (in a positive sense) which is a not so common experience in resteraunt a these days.
