Went there for my 50th birthday. 17 of us. The staff were extremely helpful and all my guests had a wonderful meal. Highly recommend.
Wide variety of Veg and Non-Veg food options. Indian foods are available, It's budget and family friendly,We were a family of 6pax and our total expense was just above 70. The interior is well made and looks great at night. The aquarium inside the restaurant is an attraction as well as an entertainer for kids. Bar is attached. Descent parking space available at the rear of the restaurant. Hope this finds helpful.
I’ve never had Indian food before, and was pleasantly surprised with Akshaya. Though the kitchen couldn’t guarantee there would be no contamination of nuts to cater for my allergies, the staff were still helpful to assure me that the food was safe to eat. I had a lovely potato curry and rice that was, though a little spicy, very different to my usual tastes but absolutely delicious. The extravagant exterior of the restaurant is only overshadowed by the incredible interior design of the restaurant that sent me into an amiable mood. The mango lassi is a must-try here; a refreshing drink after a long workout. Akshaya was a great introduction to South Indian cuisine and I can’t wait to try more of their menu again!
