Melrose Restaurant

We went to The Melrose with some friends for my birthday. Had a great meal but unfortunately this restaurant is now closed which is a real shame

Friendly staff. Rarely as busy as it’s more well known neighbour and ambience is less glitzy, however, quality is consistent and a wide range of fresh fish and seafood is available

Excellent food, staff service and a very enjoyable experience with excellent sized food portions. We enjoyed the warm crustacean platter with house champagne. Another excellent dining experience.

Amazing! Super quick service. Friendly staff. Bustling, happy atmosphere. Fried cod & chips was superb. Lovely light batter & plenty of chips. Can’t fault it at all.

Overall very satisfied with the food.Friendly staff. Service was slow but can understand they were very busy. Most people didn’t mind waiting and no one complained while we were there. Waiter gave us free olives and apologised as we were waiting

Second time here in the last month. I don’t think I will get fish anywhere better.

We sat outside on a sunny day and watched Brighton go past us. Relaxing and always interesting. Great food, prices and staff.

I ordered the fresh grilled fish platter and it it was fried and overcooked rather than grilled. Starters were nice. My partners fish was ok nothing special.

First time we have been to this restaurant and can't fault it. Everything was great from start to finish.

A wonderful experience in all respects. The food was amazing and so were all the people who looked after us.

Crab salad not dressed properly. Far too salty. Disappointing experience. Had the feeling we were being fobbed off. Wing of skate tasty but small portion.
