Established in 1974, Meraz Cafe Whitechapel remains one of the best and most popular Indian restaurants in this part of London. Just off Brick Lane on Hanbury Street, Meraz Cafe is a small, wonderfully stylish space that’s difficult to walk past without being intrigued. It looks cools, smells delicious and effortlessly tempts you in. The main menu consists of some of the Indian classics you know and love as well as plenty of Meraz Cafe signatures that you may not have tried before, all of which are home cooked with love. If all that weren’t enough, Meraz Cafe Whitechapel is ridiculously well-connected. Liverpool Street, Aldgate East, Whitechapel, Shoreditch High Street, even Bethnal Green. Wherever you are in London, pick a station and head to Meraz Cafe Indian restaurant armed with a reservation.
Meraz Cafe is a very good place, just off Brick Lane. Modern design and very nice food (though quite spicy! :-D). I would definitely go there again.
Unser Lielingsinder, der uns vor 4 Jahren auf den Geschmack der indischen Küche gebracht hat. Klein, unaufdringlich und mit ganz viel Herz gekocht. Wir kommen sicher wieder.
Excellent service and excellent food. The meat samosas were delicious, best we’ve ever had! Very reasonable prices, as well. Clean, friendly setting. Definitely recommend this restaurant.
