Food and service were both excellent. Very friendly staff who were informative about the food on the menu. Would recommend the £30 sharing plate for 2.
Love this place! Food is tasty. Hospitality is warm & is welcoming. Best Ethiopian restaurant on Wandsworth Road.
We waited and waited there to be served and no one was interested to come and serve us. the lady there didn’t even look at us. Disappointing.
Authentic serving, English is minimal but the food is amazing the overall a great experience
Excellent place with lovely food, very friendly and reasonably priced. They had a good range of dishes with the injera; we'd definitely go back - highly recommended!
I went with a larger group to Meskerem last night and we all were so impressed with the food and the service. The owner was very helpful and we chose two of the four person platters. Everything was extremely well cooked and delicious, and we were treated to a traditional Ethiopian coffee service after our meal. We were made so welcome and had a great evening. I highly recommend this restaurant, I will definitely go back!
We really liked this restaurant. The food was excellent, the service was very friendly, and the prices were definitely fair. They have two kinds of injera, one of which is the original imported from Ethiopia, which we will try next time!
Fantastic food, and we were guided (as first timers) very well by the waiter as to what to order. Very simply furnished, but don't let that fool you - the food's superb.
This unassuming restaurant provided us with excellent food, drink and coffee at an excellent price. It is not the Ritz, but anyone interested in beautifully spiced, freshly prepared, good quality food will be more than satisfied in this very friendly, authentically Ethiopian environment. If you are not familiar with Ethiopian food it is worth being daring: the charming owner will guide you through the options and how to eat them! Don't leave without enjoying the coffee ceremony at the end!
