We had a lovely night in this Spanish restaurant. The paella was a proper spanish one, excellent! Also the place was very nice and the staff friendly. I will definitely go back!

It was my fourth visit! The food never disappoints! The speciality seafood paella was delicious!

We had a lovely meal at Meson Callejon. The food was excellent, authentic and delicious. We ordered the meatballs twice as they were so good. The atmosphere was friendly and warm. Many of those at the tables near us were speaking Spanish which added to our feeling that this was a genuinely Spanish experience.. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

I would just like to thank the team so much for their incredible service and hospitality. I booked a table for 8 people for my leaving dinner and I was seriously impressed. It was a lovely ambient restaurant and the food was some of the best Spanish food I’ve ever eaten. Even my Spanish friend who was there agreed! The staff were attentive and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble and the waitress was amazing and friendly. All the food came out in a timely manner and we didn’t feel rushed to eat and leave. They even gave us a free night cap or two! I’m so happy that I chose my last meal and night in London (after 10 years) at this place. It really was better than I could’ve hoped for! Thank you for having us Meson Callejon! I strongly recommend them.

A quiet Tuesday evening in November, so not many people. Interesting range of tapas on offer. The five we had were plenty for two people. They were tasty and authentic as the restaurant has Spanish staff in the kitchen. Helpful and friendly waiter. There was an excellent complimentary gazpacho, and for us an wonderful rice dessert with a great liquor.

It was a wet Friday afternoon and we were the only people there. The service was impeccable including some complimentary tapas that made us feel at home.

We felt at home! The taste is proper Spanish from Murcia and Alicante.. ❤️❤️ We’ll definitely come back! We need to try the paella!

Everything that we ordered was excellent, and the staff have been very friendly, helpful and professional. The chef came out of his kitchen to talk to my friend about her dietary needs and made a special paella to accomodate her needs and let her enjoy her lunch with us. Highly recommended.

It's a fantastic new venture in a big old Islington restaurant. The chef cooked us a delicious sea bass in salt - really special - and everything else was lovely and served with warmth and pleasure. And it's an astonishingly good deal!
