We wanted to eat Moroccan food again after a visit to Morocco recently. We enjoyed the food there and hoped that Mezza Luna would remind us of the holiday. We were not disappointed. The food was both authentic and delightful. It was full of flavour that reminded us of our holiday, even down to the mint tea. With friendly and attentive staff, we would highly recommend this restaurant to anybody.

What an all round amazing place! Beautiful food, personal attention, a proud beaming chef and freebies to take home cos he knew how much we loved it! The hummous is the best, a lovely range of tagines and spicy grills, and I can honestly say the chocolate brownie was the best I've ever eaten!

Excellent food and brilliant atmosphere. Perfect for a fun evening, recommend the lamb meatballs to start and the mix grill sharer for the main course.

The menu has a great choice of vegan options which is why we decided to try this place. Food was good value and everything was tasty. Service and belly dancer fab too!

Excellent food, entertainment and service. Drinks were really pricey although the wine was reasonably priced. We all had different dishes and each one was delicious, only the 'crispy' calamari was a let down as it wasn't crispy!

Mezza luna has a good variety of delicious food - we got to try something new for all 3 courses. The portion size is also good. The staff were all very friendly.

Food was nice, but quite pricy for the experience. Very rude disorganized management towards customers and staff. Stressing out the waitresses that were actually nice. Not something I will repeat unfortunately. The 2 stars goes solely for the chef and the poor staff...

Food is stunning, will be going back again. Had the Lamb shank tagine after a shared cold mezza starter, everything was fresh and we'll prepared.

The food was amazing, and it tasted very authentic. I was very impressed with the quality of the food and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Very friendly welcome and staff were fairly attentive. Starters were fantastic, had the Calamari and the potatoes to share which were really well cooked. The main course though was cooked at the same time as the starters and I could see it sat up on the pass the whole time we ate our starters. Therefore as soon as the starter plates had been cleared the main arrived, the meat had dried up a bit by this point plus it didn't give us much of a breather between courses. Other than this the meal was enjoyable, great value for money and the house red was lovely. Great entertainment from the belly dancer also.

We attended with colleagues from work. Overall we had an excellentevening. the food was very good. And the belly dancer added to the atmosphere, she was brilliant. Excellent cocktails. Would highly recommend Mezza Luna to all.

Delicious food friendly service quirky decor - we thoroughly enjoyed our evening and it wasn’t too pricey - the mocktails with eco friendly namboo straws were a particular hit!

Mezza Luna was recommended by a friend and we weren't disappointed. We were 25 minutes early for our table but that didn't phase them at all and we were given a warm welcome. The staff were very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The food was delicious and the flavours were simply stunning. The belly dancer was amazing and very entertaining. There was only one problem, none of us could manage a dessert. We will definitely return.

Only had main course. Lovely well cooked fresh dishes, good size portions. Piping hot which is always a good sign in my book. Friendly staff. Only comment is that the seats are a little soft and a bit low.

Unfortunately starters and main courses came together. They had to go back under the heaters. Consequently, when we got them back they were somewhat overcooked! Not ideal!

Absolutely delicious food. Great service and relaxed environment. The duck with pomegranate was especially good. Would recommend to anyone! One of the best restaurants I’ve eaten in Cardiff.

Food was good. Good thing was, it was quite at the beginning and we took advantage of having the whole restaurant. Did get the benefit of using tastecard for the main course but not the sides.
