Ming Wah - Weymouth

Have been visiting Ming Wah for a few years now when in Weymouth & service has always been excellent but on this occasion it wasn't up to the usual standard, we were a little neglected to begin with however the staff were extremely busy. While all other tables were being given prawn crackers we had to ask. Our drinks took a while to arrive. We will still return because the food is excellent.

Great food lovely atmosphere made to feel very welcome not rushed between courses. No rush to finish and leave so table free for anyone else coming in. A busy night with a party but nothing was too much trouble

Excellent food and good service. More than we could eat at a reasonable price. Never been let down when eating at the Mingh Wah even when it is full.

Lovely food but the only down side for us (it has happened 3 out of 4 visits) is that if there are just 2 of you they either put you in a bit of a corridor right by the toilet door or on the other side right by the kitchen entrance so you have lots of staff walking past every couple of minutes or so with meals & takeaways.

The meal was delicious and we had good service. It was just rather unfortunate that the restaurant claimed not to know anything about my booking when I arrived with my friend at the appointed time for lunch.

The food was fantastic we had set menu for 4 of us there was definitely plenty of food the restaurant was very busy but the service was very good and organised the staff were very friendly and helpful would definitely recommend a visit to this restaurant this was our second time here and we will definitely be going again when we’re in Weymouth

Friendly greeting. Good choice of menu. Prompt service and attention. One choice of dessert only available Mon - Thu (except Bank Holidays). Have been before and will go again should the opportunity arise.

Went here for a friends birthday. Great food, good selection on the menu, something for everyone, good price, friendly helpful staff would highly recommend this hidden gem

Good value and fresh cooked. The crispy duck was maybe a little too crispy, but was still tasty. The garlic prawns were really good. A house red bottle of wine for £14.50 is better than almost anywhere for the price.

Always get a good welcome from the staff at Ming wah and the food is wonderful. Good quality and plenty of it. Would go back.

Very friendly restaurant. Food was lovely. Had to wait a short while for table but went across road and had a drink whilst waiting. Would definitely go again when visiting Weymouth.

Food was pretty good but we waited too long for starters and our mains never came - in the end we paid for drinks and left

The staff were extremely helpful and the food was very nice too. A very good all round experience for 2 adults and 2 children. I would recommend a visit to anyone wanting a nice Chinese in Weymouth.

Service was just as good as I remember; however some of our food was a bit chewy and some of it dry. I can earlier this year and the food was terrific, but sadly on my return, our Satays were chewy and difficult to eat. Our crispy duck was basically all crisp, our pancakes were like Frisbees...such a shame

Lovely food and reasonably priced. Always very busy so sometimes not easy to get the attention of staff if something is needed. Wait for food is not a problem.

Great food. We had set menus so we could share. All the food was lovely, the satay chicken and crispy duck were delicious. We will return.

We enjoyed a great meal for 5 people. We asked for a table in a quiet part of the restaurant and we very happy with the whole experience. Good service, humour and attention to detail was provided by the staff. Overall, a very happy occasion.

Very helpful staff they clearly know there menu & can advise you on your choice. Food was at a high standard lots of flavor will be going back here next time I’m in Weymouth.

Although EXTREMELY busy, the staff were polite helpful and lo Ely as always. Fabulously tasty food, if we have Chinese food in Weymouth then The Ming wah is where we always go !!

Once again i had a lovely authentic chinese meal at the Ming Wah. Everytime i go to weymouth i have to visit this restaurant as it never fails to meet my expectations, whether its the 3 course lunchtime special or evening meal.
