First time since the Lumbini, Nice and chilled good food

Went for the Sunday buffet, enjoyable selection of dishes and regularly replenished so nice and fresh. Good value, will go again.

atmosphere a little stark but wonderful flavours in the food. Exceptional. Shame they don't do a take away service as well

This was my son and our first visit booking was easy on line . We arrived and was seated quickly . We chose our drinks and starters as we could not decide on our main . We had to ask for the drink menu back as they took it way an emu son wanted to choose another drink , the ran out of chicken wings but gave us an alternative we enjoyed . Then had to ask and wait to order our main , they ran out of their specialty roti so chose another one . Food was good . Will be back o try more as so much on the menu .

The restaurant is in a good location with parking nearby.The staff were very friendly, the atmosphere good and the food was excellent. Will definitely return.

We came on the recommendation of a couple of friends and we were not disappointed, food was great, lots of spice, good value, we waited a little while for our ordered to be taken after this the service was very efficient and spot on, loved it and we’ve will be back!!

2nd visit if the week! I can not recommend this restaurant enough. Food is 10/10, so fresh! And the gents working in the restaurant are very lovely, and knowledgable about the cuisine. Very lucky to have this restaurant locally. See you soon!

I booked a table for ten people the food was good value for the money the restaurant was very nice but the service was very slow and we had no time for a sweet or coffee.s i wood use the place again cheers tony

First time i have tried the buffet and it was all good as always lovely food however i would of liked to see more chicken main dishes as i am not a lover of tikka masala... The Nepalese lamb was as always cooked to perfection. A wide range of quality and tasty dishes I love this restaurant. Staff are always so pleasant and the boss man always so welcoming.

Lovely food. Will definitely revisit. Also have to mention how clean the toilets are.

Lovely staff - they made a real effort with us . We had a buffet lunch but they still kept coming to check we were ok and they washed up my baby’s things after his lunch. Food is exceptional too

a couple of dishes were somewhat spicy for my palette and the mixed grill too strong on spices so as to take a way the taste of the meats. the daal and spinach chicken were lovely as were the crispy tandoori breads.

Great food but understaffed and unacceptably long wait for order to be taken and food to arrive.

Quality. Visited last night, Saturday evening, what a fantastic restaurant, staff were so friendly, food was beautiful, lovely presentation of courses, nice spaces between tables, not one single negative, even the toilets were nice.

Another fabulous evening at Monk, the staff are great, nothing is too much trouble, and the food is totally amazing especially their Monk Magic dish, a must for everyone! Thank you so much.

Great food. Recommend the starter called Monk Special and the chicken dhansak. My husband had goat piro piro and it was good and hot, just how he likes his curry! Well recommended Nepalese (like Indian) restaurant. Always busy so best to book.

A really good value Sunday buffet good choice of both meat and vegetable dishes. It's nice inside and you can need a reservation on Friday or Saturday night
