VERY GOOD .AND WOULD GO BACK AGAIN,VERY VERY SOON,FOR SURE.

Food was good and better than most Indian restaurants. It was busy so there was a bit of a wait for the food but the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall a good experience.

The Lamb pahadi is the best dish I've ever had at any Nepalese / Indian restaurant. A must try.

As always, Monty's was friendly, good value for money and excellent food. We cannot fault it.

Good food, but service was sloooow! Was not even that busy!

The food was so disappointing. The yogurt dip with the poppadum was fizzy. Starter BBQ chicken was overcooked/dry in a sauce. Salmon starte was nice, well cooked, but £8+ for 3 small bites on a large plate. Peshwari naan was unlike any naan I've had before - more like a thin, floppy pizza base sprinkled with ?...?, no filling to be found. The chicken main dish was previously cooked chicken stewed in a bland sauce - dry and stringy. The redeeming factor is that the staff were kind and offered to let me have something else instead. Replacement dish arrived quickly, but was also disappointing - I like mild, but this was flavourless. At first glance the menu seems reasonable, but worked out expensive for poor quality food.,

We enjoyed the food at Monty’s & would definitely go there again.

Regularly visit Montys and as always food and service was great. It really is a cut above your standard Indian restaurant. I had lamb achari and chicken tikka masala and both were delicious.

Made to wait 7 mins on arrival because table wasn't laid whilst other diners were seated immediately. Staff routinely gave us the cold shoulder. Tables unbalanced and wobble about- waiter refused to allow a napkin to prop up the unbalanced leg, told us 'it's fine'. Starter was disgusting, and mains only just passable. Good quantities of food for the money, but I would not return.

Fantastic meal for 2. And a great at great atmosphere

The starters were a treat. Kalmar and Chile chicken. Loved the prawn dish and the chicken. I wanted more distinct spiciness to the lamb dish special. Lots of food. Great service and hospitality. Slightly expensive for me but woth it for a special night. 3 people 75 plus tip. And 2 light lunches the next day. Cool thank you.

We had a very nice evening - delicious food and impeccable service and we were able to sit and chat without being hassled. We’ll definitely be back!

Food was really good, can’t knock it, jus a little pricey for somethings, we waited a while for our drinks order, and when the drinks did come it was one by one, then we waited a while to order, and for the food to come again one by one, o would understand if it was busy but it wasn’t, Not saying I wouldn’t go back but your asking for feed back

Great meal, we went quite late on a Wednesday but food and service was good. Only I’mprovementwoukd be some recommendations from the waiting team to help choose from the vast menu!

I have been going to Monty’s for 30 years. Great Nepalese cuisine served in a nice, laid back but attentive atmosphere. If you like that kind of cooking and find yourself in the area, go!

Not bad overall, but a little varied. My Staff curry was fine, whereas my friend was disappointed with her Tandori chicken.

Lovely food and service as always. Can’t fault a thing we all had starters, mains and shared sides plus beers and soft drinks and it came to £27pp which is great for such good quality.

The food here was great, as always and the staff are lovely. We’ve been when it’s been both full and a bit quieter and there is always a good atmosphere.

Excellent food and service, very pleasant atmosphere. Even offered free drinks at the end. No music in the background which is also a plus as some restaurants you can hardly hear people talking.
