Awesome food and service. Highly recommend this restaurant in central London!

Delishious food, served by friendly staff in a cosy and intimate setting. This is the second time I’ve visited Mother Mash and I will definitely return again. There was a mix up with my order, in which I was given the wrong pie. But I didn’t complain as the steak pie I received was delicious.

Very nice meal with family. The benches could do with a bit of cushioning for your bottom as they were very hard to sit on.

Outstanding food and outstanding service!! Don’t leave without getting the sticky toffee pudding.

The food was fantastic as usual but the service was not good. Our server was visibly in a bad mood and spent a lot of the night standing by the sink giving out about working here to her colleagues. Her service was slow and it felt like she was purposely ignoring her tables. We weren’t the only table experiencing this as others around us either made comment on her or complained to one of her colleagues about her. The only time she smiled at us the entire night is when we paid our bill and left.

We had an early lunch so much was still being set up and we were the first to arrive the food did not taste freshly made and the chicken pucker was too spicy

The food was great, it’s always great. That being said there were several sausages not available, there was only three or four to choose from. The service was also not great. One of the employees seemed really nice but only got to work when we were finishing. While the other one that was actually there throughout our meal was not really nice at all. She took our plates without asking, she gave us our bill without us asking like she was trying to get rid of us. If the restaurant was busy I would have understood, but there were pretty much just us inside.

Friendly staff, great food and price, perfect location as well.

We sat for an hour, then finally got our food, after going up to order and going up to ask where our food was. My food was cold, this was replaced, but by this time my friend had finished her meal. No apology was given. We were going to complain, but by this time waiting 20 mins for the bill we just wanted to go home!

Waitresses are amazing working under pressure but still smiling and professional. Food is great. One of my favourite places in London to eat. Good wholesome traditional food.

Usually the noise levels are not loud, but unfortunately there was a loud foreign family there this time. But still enjoyed my meal!

Booked on line for 5 people. It was ok except we were shown to a really cramped table at the back of the restaurant. I asked for us to be moved as I suffer from claustrophobia and felt really unhappy about the lack of space and we were moved to a larger table but told we had to be out of there in an hour. This wasnt a problem however they need to sort that cramped table at the back as its just not pleasant. Food was ok. Could do with some Veggies on the menu.

We were looking for a place for an early dinner in Soho and MotherMash wasn’t amazing. Great food, decent service and a good selection of drinks. Loved it!

Staff were grumpy, very rude, got both orders wrong. When we told her, she was very abrupt and rude. Waited for ages for orders to be taken and she had terrible attitude.

Food was ok....but drinks were lacking. A smile tells a lot .so smile!

I made a booking for 15 people to go Mothermash. All my guests loved the food. our server (sadly cant remember her name, blonde lady and also pregnant at the time was amazing). Really friendly and provided excellent service to our group. Couldnt asked for any more. Highly recommend.

Di solito non lascio recensioni sfavorevoli ma purtroppo non sono soddisfatto del trattamento ricevuto. Nonostante abbia prenotato mi viene subito detto che entro 1 ora devo liberare il tavolo(!!). Pietanze servite frettolosamente e, non appena finito di mangiare, mi viene subito proposto il conto. Non ci siamo!!!

just great food , the farmers gravy is good enough to drink from the jug . Don't bother with the liquor though as it literally tastes of nothing. Fast service , we were in and out in about 45 mins . We will definitely be back

Food was good but the seats were hard and the service very off-hand. Nice enough but not the place to linger.
